I am a Christian. We didn’t see the Apostle Paul leading a political activist campaign concerning slavery. But God addressed this evil in His own timing. When John Brown addressed it in the energy of the flesh in the 19th century he helped start a civil war. If Paul was in Kim Davis’ position, he would resign his office, he would not try to turn it into an act of civil disobedience. Romans 13 is clear. And many, many people in the New Testament era were homosexual, many of them probably in government. If Christians want to be the salt of the earth, they should learn and follow sound doctrine, not be the preachers of political mishmash.
This is one of the most convoluted defenses of sodomy I've ever seen.
You don't think the Apostle Paul was running an activist campaign? You think he would have gone along with sodomite marriage?
What is the "sound doctrine" you want Christians to follow? Please be VERY SPECIFIC.
on this issue, Romans 1 is much more on point. Perhaps you should read it sometime.
Would you sign your name on a gay marriage license. Would you put your personal seal of imprimatur on such a document? Would that be God's will?
Romans 13 is about good government. “God’s servant...for good.”
Believe it or not it was part of the founders argument against king George. It is a serious abuse of the passage to suggest it applies to any government action. When government becomes abusive of God given rights it is the duty of the people to change that government.
We didnt see the Apostle Paul leading a political activist campaign concerning slavery.

The Apostle Paul was the epitome of a political activist. Time and time again we saw Paul use the system to advance Christianity. How do you think he got a free ride to Rome to preach there?
From Felix, to Festus, To Agrippa, to Caesar. Paul gamed the system and used the political resources he had to glorify God.
Remember when I told you not to look back?
You did anyway.
