Sam Houston University student Monica Foy has been all over the media lately. The Woodlands resident took to Twitter a few days ago to share her thoughts on the death of Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth who she said deserved to be executed and implied he has “creepy perv eyes." Her father, Andrew J. Foy, emailed in to the show with this to say:
I'm writing you because I'm finally able after being so sick to my stomach I could hardly breathe from the insensitive and stupid remark my daughter tweeted about the fallen officer. Our whole family is distraught and stupefied with embarrassment.
Yes, she's just a misguided college student that has flown off the handle with remarks that have had no forethought whatsoever and then later has had to choke on her words, but never like this. Quite frankly, I also feel some some relief that she was arrested to face her warrant once and for all.
Michael, I can tell you that it was a stupid mistake, and she tried to delete it as soon as she realized what she had done. Inexcusable? Absolutely!! And I might tell you that there WILL be an apology forthcoming soon to not only the family of the fallen officer, but to the police departments and general law abiding public.
I can honestly tell you that Monica respects the law and the officers. The arresting officers even commented on how polite and respectful she was (which is how she was brought up to be, not just because she was arrested). We had another officer out to the house yesterday because the of the death threats, not only towards Monica, but apparently it spread to the faculty members at N.T. Law School as well where her sister is a student and the school advised us to report the threats. Jesus ... I can't find enough words to express how dismayed we are and the degree of remorse she's feeling right now. I think she's probably got the idea of how sick and despicable her tweet was.

Seriously, WTF do you do when you get blind sided by a stupid move by a daughter who's caught up in all the strife of who's (sic) lives matter and mouths off in such a public way and then tries to retract it but it's gone viral ... but to sit her down, have a little educational talk (if you can catch my drift) and apologize profusely. It doesn’t excuse her actions, but this woman has self esteem issues and was trying to be relevant in her own mind.
What she did was despicable. I suspect she’s not a happy person.

The funny thing is I know the correct usage for Their, There and They’re. Yet I find myself regularly using them improperly and the spell check doesn’t catch it.
So yes I meant their intelligence.

My late wife graduated from Oklahoma State in 3 years with a 3.97 GPA yet she had one word or I guess words, which she always used wrong.

I really feel badly for Mr. Foy. Sounds like he did all he could to raise his daughter right and can’t be expected to force a young, foolish adult to behave with basic decency. I raised my children right but there were a few times they let me down, too.
Obnoxious liberals like this young woman are allowed to go around doing and saying practically anything they want because they go unchallenged. They have no experience in real life and are led and admired by disgusting and often anarchistic professors and groups within the universities who feed their heads with crap and create this bizarre illusion of justification against the ‘system’.
These anarchists need to be challenged and defeated.

I have long been of the belief that when (or if) the civil war starts, America's enemies (Cuba, Venezuela, et al) will make sure that the bad guys have all the arms and ammo they need.
Or, there are a lot of teachers who don’t know the difference themselves......My daughter had a teacher in middle school who had the worst grammar I had ever heard anywhere. On top of that she had NO knowledge of her subject and it really frustrated my daughter to be in her class. I pulled her that December and began to homeschool.
