I totally understand that, my point still stands. If the courts recognize this, then resign and fight it in the media. Don’t expect to be paid for taking a stand that is contrary to your job description.
Many places I have not worked and several places I have left because their business practices were against my personal beliefs. I would not expect to work for them and argue they should change their practices to conform with my belief.
Amazing people don't get this. Her conscience can not allow her to violate the Constitution, nor, more importantly, God's Law. I feel sorry for those who don't see the utter simplicity behind this. They are already deceived into believing this is a simple 'just quit your job if you don't agree' issue.
This strikes at the very core of America's religious liberty standards which have stood, until now, since the founding of this nation. The real goal is to push Christians and those of conscience out of every realm of the public square. They are attempting to make an example out of Mrs. Davis to strike fear in the hearts of others in attempt to keep them in line.
The judge could have fined her, instead he chose to put her behind bars along with the (attempted) humiliating mug shot. Acting like an A#1 jackboot.
