Had he sold them would have gone to jail for sure.
Instead he probably bargained for some immunity.

Radar confirmed that Clinton had privately used the AOL-based accountAOL? Did she get one of those disks in the mail?

Emails allegedly from Hillary Rodham Clintons personal account are being offered to the media for a half-million dollars, but the messages said to have come from the presidential hopeful actually may have been online for years.
The subject lines of the emails offered to Radar are identical to those given to the media two years earlier by the Guccifer hacker. The Smoking Gun, one of the sites that originally covered the Blumenthal hack, revisited the story in March and posted screenshots from the aides inbox, as did the Zero Hedge financial blog.

The hacker should make sure to keep additional copies as these will likely be “lost” like the Lois Lerner emails.
The hacker should also be very careful. The Clintons have a history of killing people who have information on them.

Sanitized for her protection.
Why didn't he post them online or give them to Anonymous or sonmething. Jeezus, he may as well have given them back to the bitch herself!
Cue giant toilet flush.wav file.
Nothing here, move on.
Or, maybe he got his mind made right with a little threat...?

The FBI likes to relax, to R&R if you will, just like everybody else. They have been known to get out on their boat, but sometimes recognize that the occasional boating accident happens.

FBI Director James Comey He was the United States Deputy Attorney General, serving in President George W. Bush's administration. He was U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York prior to becoming Deputy Attorney General.
In December 2003, as Deputy Attorney General, Comey appointed the U.S. Attorney in Chicago, close friend and former colleague Patrick Fitzgerald, as Special Counsel to head the CIA leak grand jury investigation after Attorney General John Ashcroft recused himself. In August 2005, Comey left the DOJ and he became General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Lockheed Martin. In 2010, he became General Counsel at Bridgewater Associates. In early 2013, he left Bridgewater to become Senior Research Scholar and Hertog Fellow on National Security Law at Columbia Law School.
