GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a press conference in New York City today, Thursday, September 3 beginning at approximately 2 p.m. ET following a private meeting with RNC Chairman Reince Priebus regarding the partys loyalty pledge.

As Trump has said, they sold their souls for political contributions.
They are now slaves to their PAC's.
Okay....MUCH better :)
Another perfect example of how Trump handles/will handle the GOPe. He’ll kindly escort them on their way back to establishment land.
BTTT
Exactly!
Trump “toeing the line”, foxy in the hen house.
He has the smarts to be a winner in this negotiation. That the other candidates also received the same pledge to sign is also significant IMHO. Of course none of this is legally binding; no more so than the RNC taking a pledge to stand with WTP. What was the issue with the incorrect date? Was that RP or was that The Donald’s doing? Pray he will keep the support of left leaners even though he is running as an R. And they’re off (sound of the gun)
Missed the press conference, any links out there?
Thanks ELS. Missed it before
Right...LOL.
He handled his presser masterfully!
I’m borrowing two points that seem to answer this:
This... is the law in Kentucky
Ky. Rev. Stat. 402.020(1)(d) Marriage between members of the same sex is prohibited and void
The Court, in this decision, holds same-sex couples may exercise the fundamental right to marry in all States. It follows that the Court also must hold - and it now does hold - that there is no lawful basis for a State to refuse to recognize a lawful same-sex marriage performed in another State on the ground of its same-sex character.
For the moment I will stipulate to this part: there is no lawful basis for a State to refuse to recognize a lawful same-sex marriage performed in another State on the ground of its same-sex character
Here is the error:
http://www.lrc.ky.gov/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36466
The Court, in this decision, holds same-sex couples may exercise the fundamental right to marry in all States.
This commandeers the legislative process of the States. There is no fundamental right to legal recognition of any grouping of persons assembled for whatever purpose.
Judges are not Legislators.

This thread has a ton of good information.

Amazing how he sticks to his strategy.
Anyway, my take is, if you don't like the laws you have to enforce, resign. No one makes you hold that job. Perhaps if enough people across the nation resigned in protest, the whole thing would shut down. But I don't see how you can stay and claim that you have special rights that allow you to choose which laws you enforce or administer.
She's a dependable and wonderful freeper.
I will post a vanity asking about her.
Except there is no evidence they don’t support Trump.
He should be on the ballot... As a Democrat.
You mean Cochran, of course.
Well him too, but I meant Trump.
I’m pretty sure neither party would want him on the ballot. He’s not uniparty it would appear.
He is the ultimate uniparty candidate. He is a liberal socialist who has convinced some conservatives to support him against their own interest. He’s been involved in uniparty activity for decades.
And yet, the uniparty despises him.
Other than Cruz, he’s no more liberal than any of the other GOP candidates on most issues.
