But the Left thinks Trump is less problematic.
Exactly BECAUSE it is Salon.
Not at all an accurate assessment of Trump
There you go again posting bs articles!
Nevada is a heavy blue state?
The Left is COUNTING on Stephan Colbert to carry the water for Hillary this winter, and next fall.
Colbert takes over the late show, and “test” vid of Colbert mocking Bush has already surfaced.
I ASSURE YOU that he will NOT be mocking Hillary. AT ALL...
They are noticing that Trump is actually a liberal.
Leftists figuring out that Trump is actually a liberal too
Probably because the media think that broadcasting Trump's speeches, etc., would kill his support. So far, it's not working that way. Whowouldathunkit?
I think they give him all the coverage because they have to. He's been leading them around by the nose. The fact that their ratings jump whenever them mention his name is just an added benefit.
Meanwhile: “Scott Walker is in freefall, falling into 8th place with only 3 percent support.”
I told you so.....;>)
“How about a time-out to watch the new Walker campaign video: FIGHT and WIN “
How about a time out to check the new Monmouth Poll out today showing Walker at 3%. I don’t think winning is in his future. LOL!
“Hes doing a 10 county ride and meet Sunday and Monday through New Hampshire.
As we chit chat, hes in his second day of a 3 day swing through Texas.”
Thank God you are keeping up with it as no one else is. :-)
Trump is centrist to moderately right leaning on economic and social issues. Interestingly, the nationalist parties in Europe tend to be like this too.
I think a lot of people who want to stop the immigration invasion of the West have got sick of economic and social conservatives’ support for open borders globalist politicians.
The reality is that the most hardcore classical liberal type conservatives and “religious right” types have embraced open borders in deed and often in word as well. It tends to be the more moderate conservatives, Reagan Democrats and populists who are defecting over the immigration issue.
This is causing a crisis in the American conservative movement. Younger right wing Americans in particular are questioning traditional conservative economic and social dogma in light of the unwillingness of conservative leaders to address immigration(not to mention corporate cronyist corruption) forthrightly. The fact that corporations and other wealthy interests are 100% on the side of open borders, as are most Evangelical leaders, is causing many to turn against those people and their pet issues. I have heard a lot of this kind of talk lately from 20-somethings. Some of these people are active in conservative and Evangelical organizations too, but are sickened by the incompetence and selling out of the leaders.
Economic and social conservatives need to get their heads out of you-know-where quickly or they are going to find they have no supporters left under the age of 40. Even Bernie Sanders, an open socialist, endorsed lowering immigration levels. For crying out loud. The world has gone mad, or maybe just the GOPe has gone mad. When socialists are outflanking the Southern Baptist Convention on immigration, you know something is seriously wrong.
He has or does support gun laws, partial birth abortion, theft of private property and universal health care.
I dont NEED George Soros’s Millions...I have my own
I live in the Houston area and I’ll tell you there is concern about the border BIG time by the average Joe and across the board.
Those of us who live in border states really “get it.” I don’t know that Trump does, he just tripped over his feet and then ran with it.
Perry takes a lot of c#ap about the border but I do believe that he would have closed it down. But his time passed. I’ve seen what Walker has done in Wisconsin against the odds and in the face of screaming, vile leftists mobs and I know he will do what he says.
I don’t understand why Walker has not gotten more traction. I know he made some comments in favor of amnesty years back, but they were mindless throw away remarks. His conversion seems fairly credible to me, it’s not like he has a long time close association with open borders fanatics like Bush and Perry do. Should have used the d-word though. That’s “deportation.”
What Walker did with public employee unions and is trying to do with higher education will have to be done on a nationwide scale if we ever want to crawl out of the fiscal gutter.
I don’t trust Trump on immigration, frankly. Trump is a lifelong opportunist who I think might say anything to get elected and then do a 180.
If anyone knows the history of Alberto Fujimori in Peru, he ran for president on an anti-market based economic platform and then did exactly what he campaigned against once in office. He used a populist stance to beat a much more principled man whose policies he then stole. That sort of thing is common in many countries. Both Trump and Fujimori are high IQ types who had careers outside of politics.
I have zero confidence that he would govern as conservative, zero.
