From Mike Allen writing at Politico:
A close associate tells POLITICO that Donald Trump plans to sign a loyalty pledge Thursday that would bind him to endorse the Republican nominee, and would preclude a third-party run. Trump made the stunning decision, which he has long resisted, to avoid complications in getting listed on primary ballots, and to take away an attack line in the next debate, the associate said.

Trump only helps the GOPe. He is destroying their enemies. Now the GOPe will reign completely unchallenged. The Tea Party has been taken out.
“You know what, you are getting very tiresome!”
Not at all. I think he’s doing a great job. For Trump. I wonder if he’s on the payroll.
” The RNC wanted this very, very badly. VERY BADLY. Its they’re only useful weapon against Trump. “ ——————————
Yes, the GOP did want this, but more than that they had to prove to their own handlers, and money changers at the CoC, K Street, Wall Street, Establishment donors that they could be seen flexing some muscle and find their shorts, small enough to fit their gelded condition.
In other words this is the GoP trying to keep their own fat out of the fire, but all of us know they haven’t a prayer of EVER pulling off hoop training successfully against Donald Trump.
If they cheat him, he’s likely to start a third party and I’m going, too. Even if I don’t vote for him I don’t want GOPe picking our candidates anymore.
Well, we will have to see, won't we? Trump winning the election as a Republican can bring about big changes in the party. Personally, I would not have minded a 3rd party. If there was ever a candidate who could pull it off (in our lifetime) it would be Trump. Trump winning as an independent would be the death bell for the GOPe.
I look at this as only symbolic, a piece of paper, that could be torn up at any time.
Yes, he may be going into the meeting prepared to sign.....IF.....a number of caveats are met. Trump is a deal maker. He’s not going to walk in there flat footed and sign their one-sided pledge. He will sign it, subject to some clearly stated CONDITIONS. If adhered to by the GOPee, he will honor the pledge. If the GOPee or any of the 16 other also-rans break any of the conditions, the pledge is null and void. IMHO.
Not to worry , Bitch McConnell and Boner signed similar pledges to the conservatives that produced congressional majorities last fall.
Hillary getting elected? With what is happening to her now, she will be lucky if she is not paraded out by the end of the year in handcuffs.
Will GOPe / RINOs sign a pledge to support Nominee Trump?
“I see Trump as the only qualified nominee”
Cruz is danged good, if you haven’t checked him out.
I dont think so. Trump knows how to play dirty, too. Hell, hell probably teach the RNC some tricks.
In the end, though, like another FReeper pointed out, Trump knows these people are cowards and that theyre all for sale.
Amen! He wrote the Art of the Deal, after all :) He won’t let the stinking rnc get anything past him. He’s holding cards we don’t know about.
LOLOL!
Trump should insist on a pledge from the RNC in writing, to support him if he wins the nomination.
Quid pro quo.
If they go on the war path against him,and he decides to quit the party after tearing that paper, I will also QUIT the GOP.
Well said. I want a pledge from the GOP not to screw America and Americans anymore in illegal immigration or in foreign trade deals. I want the GOP to pledge that they will never accept foreign money or favors. I want a pledge in blood to protect the constitution and it’s rights for all AMERICANS and to protect innocent life. Anyone who considers themselves a citizen of the world, is a traitor as a citizen of America. Enough of the globalist ideology. It is treason. We have our own ideology born of the US constitutional Republic and it is in direct conflict with the globalist ideology.
Soon as Senore’ Trump signs this crap,
The RNC will go about doing everything it can to dispatch Trump to the dustpan of history/
Don do it Donald, Tell Prieus to go fish.
