From Mike Allen writing at Politico:
A close associate tells POLITICO that Donald Trump plans to sign a loyalty pledge Thursday that would bind him to endorse the Republican nominee, and would preclude a third-party run. Trump made the stunning decision, which he has long resisted, to avoid complications in getting listed on primary ballots, and to take away an attack line in the next debate, the associate said.

How about they all sign a pledge to the American republicans and Conservatives.
If Trump, Carson, Cruz or Fiorina get the nomination, you can bet the “republican” will trash them every chance the get. Mark my word.
Let me richly reassure The Donald that if he abrogates his plege then I will extra EXTRA vote cor him.
GOP specializes in betraying their voters.
Turn around is fair play.
Plus, he's also promised to NOT revoke the Iran deal, if elected.
Cant he later say something like this...I signed a pledge in good faith, but whatever.....
He could also say if Bush won...yes I said I would support the nominee, but the things he has said recently are more than I can take, hence I have to go back on my pledge for the good of the children...something like that
Trump can sign off on whatever he wishes. However, in the face of open betrayal by the GOP against him, and considering their open abdication of duty, and their support for Bush and Hillary, Trump is damn free to change his mind, if necessary, and make the people cheer him in so doing.
After all, there is not a shred of enforcement to Rinse’s sheet of paper and we all know it.
Trump supporters know exactly what the GOP are trying to do to his candidacy and to us.
Help. Now he gets to say Bush will support him!
He can always “evolve” on this later if need be. Every other politician “evolves” on things all the time.
And in return the GOPe has promised to stop trying to undermine his candidacy, dismiss his supporters, and allow the chips to fall where they may?
I want to see all the dead end candidates drop out.
no vote splitter strategy. Trump vs jebbush. (the others have no money for any real “hang time”)
I like Trump, but I would like him and others to sign a oath that they will appoint Christian Conservatives to the Supreme Court...he has said he would, but I would like it in writing from them all.
This is not a insult, it`s just that the children are more important than somebodies feelings
The GOPee thinks so little of us conservative red-heads, they probably believe that when they ram Yeb through, as they rammed McLame and Rombot, Trump’s agreement will obligate us to vote for their boy.
Nope. I’ll write-in Ted Cruz. It will be `08 & `12 deja vu all over again. They really are the Stupid Party.
Trump, Cruz or lose.
Jeb! will tell Donald that he’s making supportive Spanish ads, when actually, he will be trashing Trump repeatedly.
Some ads will say “Tiene Que ser miedo, tiene que ser cuidadoso! Este Hombre hacer muchas mentiras por cada dia.
Esconder su ninas y su dinero!!!”
“You have to be afraid, you have to be careful! This man tells lies every day. Hide your daughters, hide your money!
I bet he had an addendum that Rince N Repeatus had to sign as well.
Trump signed it, Big Deal. So what. Means nothing. He will turn this around on the screamers.
F-em. sign it and ignore it. not legally binding.
This will hurt him badly, this could be the beginning of the end for Trump should he cave to the GOPe.
How is this even legal? Sign a pledge or you won’t be on a ballot?
No, if he agrees he agrees.
And if the GOP takes advantage - many of us will leave the GOP. It’s bad enough democrats are lowlife liars... we don’t all have to be filth like them.
It’s the party’s primary.
Trump signed it, Big Deal. So what. Means nothing. He will turn this around on the screamers.
