The entire interview, , that this *Universal healthcare* premise is based on, is linked, at your article link.
Have you listened to it? I did, because I couldn’t find - in your linked article - anywhere where Trump called his proposed health plan *Universal* healthcare. So, I actually listened to the interview.
And, here is exactly what Trump said, about healthcare....
...I want people taken care of. Call it what YOU want, but I wan’t people taken care of. People who can afford it, are going to have great plans. So good - we’re going to break (state) borders.
A lot of people had great plans they loved, before 0bamaCare came in. I did. Now we have horrible plans and pay 5 times more for. We’re going to get great plans.
The biggest thing that government has to do is make sure these insurance companies are very solvent....strong...so they don’t collapse. (That’s the) only function of government.
On top of that, people who can’t afford to do that, we have to help out at a lower level. Make deals with doctors and hospitals and people where they can get the care. You can’t have a guy that has no money and is sick not see a doctor or hospital. I’m a conservative with a heart. If I lose votes for that, I don’t care.
You have to take care of poor people...it won’t be pretty, not as nice as the other, but they’ll get taken care of. Under 0bamaCare, they’re not being taken care of very well.
How is opening up PRIVATE insurance plans, across states Universal healthcare?
How is a system (just like our pre-0bamaCare system) that offers differing levels of care, based on what you CHOSE to pay, Universal healthcare?
How is CONFIRMING that any (private) insurance company that provides health insurance plans is a solvent, strong company Universal healthcare?
How is making deals with doctors and hospitals (with corporate taxes) to treat the poor Universal healthcare?
It’s not. The article you linked to calls it Universal healthcare...Trump does not. Nor does what he has laid out describe Universal healthcare, either.
Good post. Gentrol is a troll.
There you go again, wrecking a perfectly good, albeit false, story about Trump by using facts and stuff.
Well, it’s not, but that never stopped them before this.
To an extent we all see what we want to. He wants to see Trump the Leftist. We want to see Trump the Conservative.
We both have some things we can point to.
This year, right now, he is presenting Conservative ideals to the nation. He’s the first one since Reagan to do it.
This upsets some folks. They don’t know what to make of it.
We’re not going to win them over. If they get the mood sometime later on, they might slide on over on their own.
Until then, they’ll be very upset. That’s natural. It’s life.
