I am the child of an immigrant. I was 20 before I knew that my father spoke with a strong German accent. He actually forget how to speak German and was embarrassed when other Germans tried to talk with him.
I go into some stores and find that everything is now labeled in two languages.
If they come here, they must assimilate, learn the language and the culture.
