An immigrant supposed to have a sponsor whose responsibility is to care of the immigrant if he cannot do it himself!.

My step-sister sponsored her mother for green card, and immediately signed her up for social security! Her mother was over 65, so she was eligible to receive supplemental social security monthly checks even though she never worked in US and did not contribute one red cent in taxes. It did not matter that my brother-in-law is a wealthy medical doctor in CA. On top of that mother’s medical expenses were paid by Medi-Cal. US taxpayers are the suckers, because they keep electing fiscally liberal politicians.
