A visibly perturbed Jeb Bush escalated his war of words with Donald Trump on Tuesday, blasting the Republican frontrunner as "not a conservative” in English- and Spanish-language interviews during a Miami campaign event.
“He attacks me every day — he personalizes everything,” Bush said in Spanish to reporters, giving one of his most personal responses to Trump that his rival won’t hear in English.
“If you’re not totally in agreement with him, you’re an ‘idiot,’ you’re ‘stupid,’ you have ‘low energy,’ blah, blah, blah,” Bush said, in a sign that Trump’s criticisms of his energy levels are getting to the former Florida governor. “That’s what he does.”
Asked if the campaign was getting personal, Bush told an English-speaking reporter: “It’s all personal for him, sure — mischaracterizations of my views, longstanding views. I’ve written a book about it. If he was interested in actually knowing my views, he could read the book. And he would know that I’m for border security and in a practical way that won’t cost hundreds of billions of dollars like what he’s proposed.”

Yeb Bush is “very” weak in Florida ... yes, he was a decent govenor (minus Terry Schavio debacle) ... but Yeb left Florida office EIGHT very long years ago ...

Maybe so. He brags about speaking more Spanish at home than English! If you’re an American, speak English! Look at all the great people in this country that came from other countries, but learned to speak English because they wanted to be Americans. I have never seen demands that everything be printed in Italian, for example, or polish, or any other language, only Spanish. It infuriates me every time I hear, “For English, press one.”
