I understand the story, but just playing devil’s advocate...

How is that Hillary’s fault? If it wasn’t classified at the time, then she didn’t violate any protocol in that regard, right? How could she have? “I didn’t send or receive any classified information”.........

That’s going to be made into a true statement. How could she have known????

Mark my words.

Actually could be true for material that she has no reason to understand by its context, but,

In her position, there will clearly be many things that she and her staff understand is classified, and though not marked, the improper storage of this material is still a violation.

Take an example, Lets say you know that your Chief Financial Officer is taking company records and data home and working from his home computer which is connected to the internet. You know perfectly well that company financial data is sensitive, (and that it would hurt the company if the competition could get that data.) OK, so what should you do? In Hillary’s case, her co workers apparently did not care that she was breaking the rules.

Now suppose further that the CFO was caught red handed and his excuse was: The data was not clearly marked company sensitive, so I did nothing wrong.

Two things make this a mute point.

Number ONE: SHE decided to install and operate a Server that she used for Official Email so it was HER responsibility to determine what was and what was not Classified/TS material and make sure it WASN'T on that server.

Number TWO: When in the U.S. Senate Hillary Clinton served of the Senate Intellegence Committee. She was trained in what was classified and what was not.

As Secretary of State she would have gone thru training AGAIN for what was classified and what was not. She would have been instructed as to how that information was to be sent/received between Departments/agencies/officials.

Finally, she Hitlary Rotten Clinton was one of 20 Federal Agency heads that was given the Ability to Classify documents by the President.

If there is any indication that information (or the analysis of same) came from a satellite, it is classified. Period. Even certain other types of intelligence are so obviously classified that it is almost impossible to claim ignorance. Especially the types of material that are filtered up to her level.

She surely read material (on a frequent basis) that was clearly stamped as classified information that was similar in nature to what she had on her server that lacked classification stamps. She simply had to know that based on the similarities of content.

If you read something that is classified in one document, and the same type of info appears in another document, you know its classified. This is also pertains to conversations.
