Wonder where these Wizards of Smart think Trump’s supporters are going to go if they succeed in taking out The Donald.

If nothing else, Trump has demonstrated that the Republican field is a bunch of moderate squishes, with the possible exception of Ted Cruz.

I resolved after NOV 2012 that, going forward, my vote had to be earned and, so far, the GOPe-approved candidates have not impressed me.

Yeah, smart move, GOPe. Shove him toward his not-so-veiled threat to go 3rd party, which guarantees that a democrat wins next year.

Either beat Trump straight-up on ideas or stand down. Leave the skullduggery to the dems.

"Republican ad maker Fred Davis, a strategist for a super-PAC supporting Ohio Governor John Kasich, said, "At this stage we really don't know what the hell is going to happen with Trump."

This is the SOB that made and then released, after Christine O'Donnell specifically told him not to, the infamous "I am not a witch" ad.

Fred Davis can FOAD.

Bah: distraction.
Trump’s sole important weakness is holding together his coalition of conservatives and moderates.

What’s coming from the establishment is using congress to set the battlefield for the media to divide that coalition.

A higher priority is the destruction of the GOPe. A lot of rope would be helpful for the the GOP Congressional leadership.

Everyone is looking in the wrong direction. The unbelievably cunning, diabolic entities that persuaded the majority of Americans that it was a good idea to elect a Communist reared and educated minority individual with nothing in common with his peers, whose past was so obscured that even his birthplace was a matter of controversy, and whose every published word shouted “Communism”, to the highest office in our nation......twice.

The American population as a whole has been had ever since and that’s not about to change. Of course we’ll have a Republican President the next time! And just like the last time, most of us will think he’s the overwhelming victor and he will indeed be; just not for us.

It appears that part of this article implies that Trump is rich enough to have an “I don’t care, I’m rich” attitude.

My thoughts are that Trump does care about 2 things (and in this order)
(1) The United States of America that allowed him to acheive the highest level of capitalism he could; and,
(2) Donald Trump, a capitalist of the highest order.

Philly gets “walking around” money from the campaigns? Trump can go to Philly and tell the urban-children, “I’ve got effyoo money. Deal with it.”

I realize their desperation to stop Trump, but they’ll have to give people like ME, and most people reading this, a person to VOTE FOR that can match what Trump is saying and his capability to stand up to the onslaught. So far, only Cruz can match what Trump is saying, but he still hasn’t matched the way Trump has beaten down the left (in the media, in the Democrats, and in the Republican Party). Maybe Cruz could, if he had Trump’s money.

...and somehow I doubt Romney will do any better.

They are astonishingly tone deaf.....the more they try to destroy him, the stronger he has become, and will become.

If Trump derails, it will be due to his own mistakes or revelation....or perhaps a tiring of the bigger than life persona. The GOP e cannot possibly do it.

The GOPe will destroy TRUMP at their own peril. They might succeed in bringing him down, if they work hard enough at it. However, as the motley crew has shown in the past - they are unable to put their shoulder into anything of substance. Utter failure at the first level. If they manage to put a dent in THE DONALD, WTP would be mightily surprised. They can’t seem to do anything right, other than be complete failures. To GOPe: you might wish to make note - you might wish to rethink your strategy. There is no way in hell that this tactic will benefit you, US or your/our COUNTRY. This vote (along with countless others) will never be voluntarily given the BUSH lite. The only way this hand pulls a lever for the boy, is by cutting the appendage from the host and using the cold, dead, hand to pull that lever yourself. You fellows are asking for trouble, you fella’s have shown WTP what lies beneath your evil skins. That you spend far more time and effort to bring down DONALD and lift the bush than you’ve ever shown for the benefit of OUR COUNTRY only goes to show you to be the rogues you have become. Persons such as you make me ashamed to call myself an American — and because of this, I am no longer a republican. The anger felt for you IS making the blood shoot out of my eyes and ‘where ever” It is time to pull the plug of life support and do you in. Way past time if truth be known.

"They believe that the accumulation of controversial and offensive comments, along with Trump's lack of a coherent agenda"

Funny thing, featured first and foremost is Trumps lack of coherent agenda. He's the only one that has presented an agenda.

Well they see him as someone who could shake up their cozy little lonely making and power scheme. He’s a threat to their way of life and that makes him dangerous. Cruz too.

They have nothing...They have absolutely nothing to offer...They will all try to put a little different twist on the same old policies that have never worked in the past...Make promises they have no intention of keeping...

They were rejected en mass at the Congressional elections and will be rejected this time as well...

The people now have a choice...A choice to make American great again...
