Why Trump?
1. Illegal immigration is the only issue; if it's not stopped soon, America will become like California -- a demographic one-party state.
2. Politics is about name-recognition and none of the other candidates besides Trump has the name recognition to challenge Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton.
Therefore, Trump is the only candidate with a chance to win who has promised to do the only thing that matters.
You are hopelessly confused. I did not call you a liar. If your reading comprehension is this bad, the problem is yours entirely.
lol.... and you follow-up with a real doozy. Hell of a response there bucko!!!!!!
I am tired of unprincipled conservatives (if you really are one) selling out to charlatans. And yes your prior mini-manifesto is very GOP(e) like. Not saying Trump is, but you sure sound that way.
Cruz has on more then one occasion pissed off conservatives by supporting Statest/Globalists policies. Cruz has also shown he know zilch about foreign relations. He is one of the good guys but he is nowhere near being ready to be president of the USA. He needs a few more trips around the Sun to gain more experience in how the world and country really work. He has spent his entire life in academia and government. Not a good resume in these troubled times.
‘I am tired of unprincipled conservatives’
If I called Trump “terrific,’ and said that what Trump says is the “truth,” and even added that, “I am a big fan of Donald Trump,” would you consider me an unprincipled conservative?
1) Every informed conservative knows that Trump said that about Malkin.
2) how do you know not true ...? Wow. Just wow. Disgusting thought, n00b.
So, you believe that abortion doesn't matter until the illegal aliens are dealt with?
Right now in the United States, a baby is murdered EVERY 24 SECONDS, and you say it doesn't matter.
Do you know what happens when a nation murders 60 MILLION people? A labor shortage is created. They are coming and taking jobs because America murdered the people who should have those jobs.
You think illegal aliens need to be dealt with, so do I. However, it is carelessly naive to believe that this is the ONLY important matter.
It astounds me how some who claim to be conservatives vacillate on the subject of Ann Coulter. When she supported Mitt Romney four years ago, she was rightly ridiculed. Now she says she would be fine with abortions being performed in the White House as long as Trump is elected and she's cheered. I don't get it.
There is no law that says you cannot deal with both abortion and illegal immigration. And we could probably fight a war, too, if we had to. We could also fund all those wasteful departments, and we could continue to suck up to the American aristocracy, the GOP-E being one group that thinks they’re a birthright member of the same.
IOW, the GOP-E hasn’t given us diddly with either abortion or illegal immigration.
Why keep following them?
I’m willing to gamble on Trump. He might actually try to follow through.
There no point in gambling any longer on the GOP. I know they’re lying.
The point is, the rest of the conservative agenda will be washed away in the tide if the immigration issue is not dealt with. It’s not that one thing is more important than the other; it’s that one thing is dependent on the other.
It’s easy for Republican political consultants to put the right words and phrases in someone’s mouth...
Just take a look at all the people we elected to congress last time... men and women who went to DC and STILL SAY ALL THE RIGHT THINGS... and did NOT do anything....
I’m not backing people because they’ve memorized the conservative playbook. I want people who will accomplish conservative goals... Which is why I’m backing Trump. He WILL build the wall. He will improve care for vets. He will make better trade deals.
Or the Obamagurls who drool over that picture of doughy Barry in the surf with no shirt on.
I like Cruz too. He’s my favorite. I send him money.
And Cruz hovers between 4 and 7 percent in the polls.
While I agree that immigration must be dealt with, I don't believe for a second that it will destroy conservatism.
Reagan's conservative revolution began BECAUSE of liberalism. Americans were sick of what the left had done to our Republic by refusing to win in Vietnam, Carter's weakness, Watergate, etc.
Conservatism ATTRACTS people and it attracts people of all stripes.
Its not that one thing is more important than the other; its that one thing is dependent on the other.
True, and as I have pointed out (a point which NOBODY has refuted), it is a simple matter of supply and demand.
There is ALWAYS a demand for labor. If that demand cannot be met domestically, it will be met by immigrants. THAT is why we have so many illegal aliens.
I'm beginning to realize that America has a major problem with believing that we are entitled to anything. Liberals believe they are entitled to all sorts of material desires and conservatives believe they are entitled to a prosperous constitutional republic.
Well, liberal entitlement is ruining the country, on that we all agree. But what about conservative entitlement? America has embraced abortion, homosexuality and all forms of deviancy; the GOP has stood by and said what people want to hear, but ultimately done nothing and conservatives have largely given them a pass.
America has become a nation that even the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah would cringe at, why should God bless us?
January/February are the big months.
If any candidate takes Iowa, NH, and South Carolina, then it’s hard to change that.
I think all the ‘favorite sons’ will stay in until their states vote, so they can deny delegates to another candidate. Graham, Rubio, Perry, Christi, Kasich, Pataki, Gilmore, Santorum, Walker and the like.
Agreed, the way things are set-up now, it's pretty much over if someone wins all three. They could probably win two and come in second in the third and still have a lock.
These guys may stay in, but their money will dry up and their campaigns will become almost non-existent.
We need to remember that even most die-hard voters don't start paying much attention until Iowa. Look at what happened to the Democrats in 2004: Howard Dean looked like a lock and Kerry swept it in one night.
“Believe” whatever you want, you’re still wrong.
