First question from Lord Foul is "Valerie are any muslims impacted by the situation?"

The opportunity for graft is diminishing for this project, so it won’t get much attention from Obama.

Good. The more general anger at the EPA’s screwups while they continue to preach their extremist branch of the Green religion the better.

“The congressional delegation made a similar plea in a July letter to the EPA." What pure unadulterated crap. The slave has become the master. Abolish this worthless agency whose only purpose is to further its own existence at the expense of the common man. Taxation without representation is the classic definition of tyranny. Abolish this evil agency, it has nothing to do with ‘protecting’ the environment. What happened to the Animus river? Where has that gone and did the “environmental protection agency” “protect” that river? As BJ Bill Clinton once said: “it's time for a change.”

Chris Whitley, EPA region 7: "Good science takes time, and it cannot be rushed.Right. The EPA rushed the botched Gold King mine near Silverton, CO causing disaster. Now they aren' going to rush this and cause another disaster.

Would Yucca Mountain have been a good site for this type waste?
From wiki:
Since 2009, the Obama administration has been attempting to close the Yucca Mountain repository, despite current US law that designates Yucca Mountain as the nation’s nuclear waste repository.

This kids got a winner of a lawsuit against any school that graduated him, unless it was Godzilla U.

What we have is an emergency, said Ed Smith, energy program director with the Missouri Coalition for the Environment. Its a slow-moving emergency. Well, that doesn't necessarily require a slow moving solution.

George Bush's EPA plan was to cap it and that only cost $41 million at the time, but the locals didn't like that solution, so EPA had to back up and start over.
St Louis wants this transferred over to the Corp of Engineers who would dig it up, haul it, and dump it in Utah or Nevada. But that is probably going to cost $500 million, plus it takes an act of Congress to transfer it over to the Corp.

They’ve only been studying and considering it for twenty-five years?
To: ProtectOurFreedom
They can rush action on global warming, because they can’t screw up something that doesn’t exist.
To: Ben Ficklin
I’ve dealt with the Corp of Engineers for decades and I can attest to the fact that those boys really know how to complicate a project and drive the cost into the stratosphere.

Great big piece of the reporting puzzle is missing.
How much activity are we talking about AND what are the isotopes of barium present?
Without those two, this is merely normal, scare the people ‘news’.
Breaking news!!!! Every single banana, in every single supermarket, in every single town in America is Radioactive!!!! What are we gonna do? (Cue the O Noes guys)

I’ve got it! I’ve got it! I FIGURED OUT WHAT IS CAUSING “GLOBAL WARMING”
“....with an underground, smoldering fire in an adjacent landfill, residents and leaders say its only a matter of time before the flames hits the radioactive waste, potentially sending it airborne and spreading it in an unpredictable way.”..........
Yepper, global warming alright.........
