you idol worshipers still don’t get it...That just goes to show that the voting populace in this country can be manipulated with ease to the point its put the future of the country in jeopardy...Faith in numbers without facts to back it up will crumble like clay. Unfortunately for many of you, I doubt you have the skills to reason out this folly before it’s too late.

FU doesn't even start to cover it...how about FU very much, you condescending twit?

If I had unlimited power...an emperor...I would name Ted Cruz and Scott Walker as my right hand men.

At this point, it appears that's the most likely path to power for them. We do not live in a world with gogeo, emperor, so let's confine ourselves to the world we live in. In this world , politicians seek election. That happens in a world hostile to conservatives by definition.

That means the successful conservative candidate will sell himself and his vision around the media and the intelligentsia. He will prevail against the GOPe and the religious left.

Right now, it appears the only viable candidate is...Donald Trump.

I believe this may be the last election that matters. Illegal immigration will be fatal to America as we know it. We're fighting that against those who are supposed to represent us.

Ted Cruz can explain to me what has to be done and why. I'm not the problem.

Whether we are for, against or undecided for Trump can we keep it to the ideas, thoughts and opinions respectfully without jumping on each others bones. It detracts from the forum IMO. I for one want to hear from those who disagree with my opinions and the reasons why. We can even fight each other but don’t drag it down to the dirt, muck and mire. C’mon now..

The anti-Trump person isn’t a Leftist. They are independent Conservatives that study on their own much of the time. They have followed politics long enough to know right from wrong (with regard to Conservatism).

Once again they see a man that on outward appearances, has at least cursorily supported Leftists and their causes. This is foreign to them, because at their station in life they could never have done what Trump did. Frankly, I have a hard time with it myself. The donating of money to Leftists I despise, is not something I pass of lightly.

I do have to come to terms with it. I want to know what went on in his mind. How could he? It’s the obvious question. I don’t have a definitive answer for that. I do have an answer, but it won’t satisfy any of us in total. It does at least let me understand.

When you get into the rarefied air of a man like Trump, you see things from a different perspective. Some would say you see it in a very selfish way. You’re only looking out for yourself. No anyone or anything else matters, not even your own nation.

If the guy was only supporting Leftists, I would see him as a diehard Leftist. He wasn’t. The politics of the person didn’t matter. Why? Because he had a business to protect.

Sounds very bad to some folks. To them he was nothing but a selfish individual. Fact is, he was also thinking about 22,500 employees, whose families depended on his businesses flourishing.

Trump wrote a book 15 years ago. In that book he talked about the Canadian and Scotish health systems. Today he is referenced for those commenst as if he said them last month.

Regardless he hawks a private sector, anything but single payer, plan today. Never mind, some folks won’t listen.

Trump has covered a lot fo ground over the last several months. Those that have listened to him know he isn’t selling what some FReepers accuse him of being. He IS NOT selling Leftist solutions. He’s selling Conservatism.

Those that trash him, are fighting Conservatism. There’s no less blunt way to put it.

If they won’t listen to him, then they can’t know. Let them stew in it until they get tired enough to finally listen.

When they do, they’ll hear things they like.

Let them enjoy the pain, the feeling of being dejected, abandoned, betrayed...

To them that beats actually paying attention to what is really taking place all around them.

They respect Ted Cruz. They respect Jim Robinson. They may even have respected some folks who like Trump Today. Do they think all these people have forsaken decades of beliefs to simply follow a guy because he’s public figure?

Well yes. That’s easier for them than educating themselves.

Sad really, but there are always going to be some folks slower than the rest to catch on.

Pity them and their angst.
