Like I said, I live just south of the BC border. Try to cross the border away from a checkpoint here.I dare you.

There's a town on the Vermont/Quebec border that I've vised several times.Once,I thought I had accidentally crossed into Canada by a few feet and then back into the US.Being a bit afraid I went to a nearby official US border crossing and reported what happened.The border official said that it was OK and that they'd straighten it out with their Canadian counterparts.He said that there were all sorts of sensors and cameras in that area...on both sides of the border.I wonder if that could be true elsewhere along the border.

There are sensors and cameras everywhere. And have been for a long time. 25 years ago when we were up near the border and decided to spend a couple of days at friends across the border, they let us through with one of our other race children, without id, but when we rode back through, they had a pic of her for comparison.
