on NBC News's "Meet the Press," Walker described... an end to birthright citizenship — as a "distraction."

It's fundamental.

Some people especially self centered ‘news’ persons don’t seem to live in the real world of ordinary people. They play ‘blind-mans-bluff’ all the time.

If Trump gets the nomination, the gop elite have no one to blame but themselves. We turn out at the polls and gave them big victories in 2010 and again in 2014, and just what have they done? Absolutely nothing, but kiss 0bama’s butt. They have done nothing that they promised to do, and they have a long history of that.

Reagan granted Amnesty to a couple of million illegals, which was supposed to lead to securing the border. Reagan didn’t order it secured, Bush the First didn’t order it secured, and Bush the 2nd didn’t order it secured, and if he has his way, Bush the 3rd won’t do anything about it.

I don’t know if Trump will do anything about it either if he is nominated, and wins the election, but right now, he’s the only one who is at least raising the issue.

“Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich: Donald Trump Could be GOP Nominee”

Daa, is the sky blue? Not much of a prediction at this point.

So stupid: "How does he do it?"

"By winning more delegates than the others, Martha."

Gradually some of the 17 will be voted off the island. Suppose that in January Trump, Carson, Cruz, Rubio, Jeb are the only ones left, which is likely. Where will the former supporters of the eliminated go?

Most Cristie/Kasich supporters will go to Jeb.
Most Huckabee/Fiorina/Walker/Santorum/Paul supporters will never go to Jeb. It is hard to see Jeb ever again going above 12% nationally. So which survivor can capture voters who lost their first choice?

Carson and Rubio seem to be the 2nd and 3rd choices of almost everyone. Carson is clearly benefitting from the slide of others. Will that continue?

Cruz needs to find a way to broaden his appeal. So far he has narrow casted himself. Will he and his campaign see a need to do that? Will he continue to let his enemies define him? Or will his campaign realize that they need to define their candidate before the enemy does?

Cruz has the most potential to be the break out candidate. He also has the most potential to be the opportunity lost.
