>>That’s why Democrats often name as their most difficult foes Bush, a former governor of Florida and part of a family that’s won three presidential elections, and Kasich, second-term governor of a key swing state, Ohio.

Is that Br’er Donkey talking? “Ooh, don’t throw me in that Kasich Bush!”

The Republican that Democrats fear most isn’t Donald Trump. It’s Jeb Bush, with John Kasich coming on fast.

Then why are the democrats and media attacking Trump more than Bush?

It is that undecided unnamed republican whom has yet to declare his/her candidacy to become the next President of the United States. really it is the next candidate whom declares that he will run as the republican Candidate. Just wait it will be a shocker. Right and those are the people whom allow the democrats to pick the Republican candidate. The Democrats are in PANIC Mode.

If Trump runs against Hillary, he will take 50 states and Puerto Rico.

The establishment so desperately wants their dynasty.

Hillary versus Bush is the dream ticket of the establishment, and not because of who will win. It’s because whichever wins, the establishment wins. They’ll laugh all the way to the bank with either one of them.

It’s conventional wisdom, that means it’s a possible outcome, and one to regret.

While I hope Trump survives as this generations zeitgeist, conventional Wisdom will have Trump flaming out in a giant fireball of controversy, Dr. Ben Carson self immolating by inexperience, and Carly Fiorino evaporating into obscurity.

Jeb Bush though is done. He can not recover, perhaps if 100% RINO and GOPe support and some Dems, but he’ll never capture the conservative anchor.

Christie’s chances look like they might have some + uplift, Kasich will probably be the goto guy after Jeb.

Trump beware though, even though some bundlers are leaving Jeb, he’s still got big dough to spend. Everytime he tries to take the stage, step up there with him as the straight guy.

Any Freepers old enough to understand the significance of the line "Skin me if you like Br'er Fox, but PLEASE don't throw me in that Brier patch!"?

Two boring old white guys that play right to the stereotype of Republicans - they consider that the greatest threat? Really?

If they had said Rubio or Fiorina perhaps it might have been believable, analytically - taking off the table their “first” strategy for Hillary as a basis for an appeal to votes. But Bush and Kasich? Really? I don’t believe it - especially the former. Bush has a ceiling just due to his name in that two other members of his immediate family were also Presidents.

And yes, Trump might be an old white guy, but he’s certainly not a boring one.

"Without Sarah, McLame would have gone down to an even worse Ignominious defeat! Many voted for him because Sarah was on the ticket."
MegaDitto on that. In fact my favorite "thing" in 2008 was saying:

Tippecanoe and Sarah too.

Ya'll can read between the lines.
