Looks like Up With Steve Kornacki is becoming the go-to place liberals for liberals to let their radical cats out of the bag . . . Yesterday, as we reported here, Josh Barro of the New York Times said that the only way to impact violent crime is to undertake a "massive" gun grab. Today, it was the turn of Salon's Joan Walsh to admit that she doesn't know "any liberals upset--outraged" by illegal immigration.
As we said of Barro, kudos to Walsh for her candor. And really, why would liberals be upset by millions of illegal, low-skilled, immigrants flooding into the country? It's not as if America has a culture worth preserving, after all. And as we know, another term for illegal immigrants is "future Democratic voters."

These are people that live the classic New Yorker cover:
They are monumentally unknowledgeable about the realms outside their bubble yet consider themselves more worldly and, thus, more deserving to run that world, than the people who live in the actual real world.
The splitting of the conservative vote, allowing Jeb to sneak in by a plurality, was a real danger before Trump got in the race.
But Trump has given Jeb such a thrashing, I’m hopeful that Jeb won’t be able to do it.
The same wealthy liberals who don’t want borders or fences around the country will secure their own homes to the max, and often live in secluded, gated communities. They don’t leave their doors open so that anyone can walk in.
Trump’s takedowns of Jeb have been simply brutal. And Trump is not letting up. Jeb just lost three of his top fundraisers...and Trump stuck the knife in and twisted it.
I could not be so heartless. But Trump wants Jeb neutralized, and he won’t stop till he’s satisfied that Jeb is down for the count.
Well, Joan....I actually know one. He’s a nice guy, very naive; like a little brother to me. He voted for Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Obama, Obama...in that order. He is a Chicagoan, now in San Diego for more than 30 years. We discuss, and politely disagree, about politics.
On the day when THIS happened https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_American_Boycott he called me. This was about 2:00pm his time. Normally, we would never talk until midnight or so, so I worried if there was some accident or bad thing in the family, to hear from him at such an hour. Not to worry. He said (and I quote):
“This is the greatest day in my life since I moved out here! The traffic is moving, I’m not behind all these beaters pooping out smoke on the I-5. I got food at the drive-thru and ordered it in English, and got my change back in English. This is almost unbelievable. Went to pick up something at the hardware store for our bathroom and I got actual help from the staff. I can’t talk longer now but I’ll call you later. I just wanna say this is the greatest invention in the history of the country.”
Nowadays, I rib him and remind him of this call, which he remembers well. To his credit, he doesn’t pretend it didn’t happen; in fact he can quote parts of it. lol
I will not be a bit surprised if he casts a vote for Trump. Not one bit.
^ THAT needs to be said over and over again.
Nou: Never should have doubted you. We're on the 4th and 2 yards.
There’s a bunch of Joan Walshes Out there and not just in NYC. There are several living on my street here in Central Texas (Kalifornia Kockroaches).
I don’t know who Joan Walsh is.
Never forget our signal advantage: we believe in something, unlike Walsh and her ilk, who believe in nothing. For what, exactly are willing to fight and die for?
(BTW: No need to tip my hand in public... it was probably a rhetorical question you asked...)
Of course, in her rarefied circle, she also doesn’t know anyone who in turn knows an actual illegal alien.
