His path is an increasingly common one: Immigrants from China and India, many with student or work visas, have overtaken Mexicans as the largest groups coming into the U.S., according to U.S. Census Bureau research released in May. The shift has been building for more than a decade and experts say it’s bringing more highly skilled immigrants here. Send them ALL home. We have 30-60 million illegals in the US, both those that came illegally and those that stayed illegally. IMHO they should all go home and no US school receiving federal funding should get said funding if they turn away an otherwise qualified American to take a higher paying foreign student. Our nation’s future should come before educating other country’s over population, whether they are smart or not.

The wages for STEM grads is stagnant due to cheap labor form India, China and elsewhere. There are more US STEM grads than jobs.

More than 80 percent of H-1B visa holders are approved to be hired at wages below those paid to American-born workers for comparable positions, according to EPI. Besides barring citizenship while instituting some level of legalization for those here already, Mr. Cruz has proposed increasing the number of green cards awarded annually, to 1.35 million from 675,000. He also wants to eliminate the per-country limit that he said left applicants from countries like Mexico, China and India hamstrung when they tried to gain legal entry to this country.

We need a complete moratorium on immigration if we’re ever gonna get a handle on the problem, but it won’t happen. I’m afraid all of the doom and gloom many of you espoused here over the years is coming to fruition. We’re all going to live the see the ruination of our country.
