The story says he tried to pay with a credit card that was declined. He then tried to pay by check, but the driver said checks are not accepted by the restaurant.

And no one seems to think that a man so decorated might be just plain pissed off with the way people act and maybe, just maybe ... the driver's way of responding to him might be out of line

I'm not apologizing for either side, but I haven't heard yet what the driver's words were or what HE said and did.

The driver had facial hair .... was he middle eastern LOOKING ?
