I’m still waiting for the true conservatives to disassociate from the GOPe and align with a new party. Only THEN will we see the death of the GOPe.

I strongly disagree at this point. We can’t start a new party at this late date - to do so - ensures a DEM victory in 2016. We have to take the party back and defeat the elites at their own game - which is what we are doing. They will then become the minority. We have to defeat them from within.

I agree with catsrus. Take back the party and after routing them from the party, start convicting them in courts around the nation.

True Conservative?
Is a big government solution to immigration “conservative”?

Is giving the federal government the power to tell a private employer whom he can and cannot hire “conservative”?

The reality is the the anti(illegal) immigrant movement is not “conservative”. It is “populist”.

The entire Trump support is “Populist”.

True “conservatives”, those who favor capitalism, freedom, small government and the Constitution are really a small number. Half the Tea Party is not “conservative”. It is “populist”.

The Donald Peron is the direct decendant of Juan and Evita and is the proof that some in the US already think like a 3rd world banana republic.

The problem is that the true “conservative” candidates have to find some way to attract the “populists” who are more emotional than logical.

“Conservatives” and “populists” have the same common enemy in the Oligarchs, the Corporatists. But the Bernie Sanders left also sees the “populists” as natural allies with the same common enemy.

Would it not be sweeter to kick the sorry butts of the GOPe into the street and move into their sumptuous offices?

Of course it would...
