Walker is fading to black for a reason. He is an establishment candidate. Most have realized he has no core values and doesn’t know what he thinks about an issue from day to day.
The only two candidates who have the force of personality to make any significant change in this country are Trump and Cruz. Trump has the best chance to win because he will pull votes from a wider audience.
Everybody can’t be President. Cruz’s talents would be a lot better utilized as AG, VP or Supreme Court justice. Scalia isn’t going to live forever.
I understand what you say about him, but I really just can’t peg him in the “establishment” category. It is true that he has had some flip-flops over immigration and amnesty (that 2013 radio interview for one that our resident campaign worker won’t put in her list of pluses), but he HAS done some pretty non-establishment things within his home state. By non-establishment I mean the appeasement and capitulation our national GOPe leadership ALWAYS falls back on. It is their go-to game, frankly.
Regardless, Walker’s policies in this campaign and his positions will out him in the end. The latest thing about not having a position on anchor babies or deportation, etc. until we’ve first built a wall...... I believe he did this to up his numbers but I don’t think that’s working.
Agree,GG2.
I am hopeful that Trump will pair with Cruz for 2016.
But more and more, it is apparent that there is no one in the GOP or Dem fields of candidates that comes anywhere near Trump and his vision to make America great again.
It is also apparent that Trump has tapped into voter’s feelings across the board.
We can’t do the GOP thing anymore. The GOP-E will soon comes to grips with reality—Trump represents their best chance to stay in power and in the perks of office—and that Trump is going to win with or without them.
100% correct!Trump and Cruz are tight. AG until SCOTUS opening.
