New York August 27, 2015 Two of Israels best friends, businessman Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz, have agreed to host a mass rally in Washington against the Iran Deal which directly threatens the security of the United States and Israel.
Cruz and Trump are both presidential candidates but transcending their run for the White House is a sincere desire to limit an Iranian ICBM nuclear attack on the US.
Both Trump and Cruz realize that if Iran secures 150 billion dollars from the lifting of sanctions, that money will go towards nuclear weapons infrastructure and the expansion of Hamas and Hezbollah global terror networks.
The Texas GOP senators campaign announced today that hes invited Trump to join a rally planned at the Capitol soon to pressure lawmakers on opposing the nuclear agreement.
The rally is sponsored by Tea Party Patriots, Center for Security Policy, and the Zionist Organization of America.
We are thankful for all their hard work on this effort and will have more details on time, date, and location as they are finalized, the Cruz campaign said.
Trump told supporters today at a campaign event in South Carolina: I think were going to do something next week or the week after about the Iran Deal in Washington.
Were going to have a tremendous crowd come out, Trump promised.
Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America, said the rally is tentatively slated for Sept. 9. He said he welcomed Donald Trumps involvement and the attention he would bring to the Iran agreements opposition.
Anybody whos in public life and opposed to the deal, its useful to have them speak out and oppose this catastrophe, Klein said.
Its not a bad deal, its a catastrophe. Every American should be freaking out about arming and funding the Hitler of the day.
Sources in both the Cruz and Trump campaigns state that they expect at least 100,000 people to march on Washington, demanding an end to a nuclear deal with Iran that provides Iran with the absurd honor of inspecting their own facilities.
Isaac Herzog, the leader of Israels political opposition, whose dislike of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is well-known, has declared that he supports Netanyahu in his efforts to oppose the Iran deal, which the U.S. Congress is about to consider.
I had a meeting with security experts where I learned about the deal and I think it is bad for Israel. Netanyahu and myself will certainly cooperate when it comes to the security of Israel. As an Israeli patriot, this deal is dangerous.
Herzogs support for Netanyahu has come as a surprise to his left-wing supporters in the United States, including the Obama, Iranian-backed J Street organization, which supports the Iran deal and supported Herzogs efforts to unseat Netanyahu in the recent Israeli elections.
Excellent. Good team work.
Fantastic. I so wish I could go!
I strongly prefer Cruz over Trump, and one of the reasons is that Cruz puts the interests of the country before himself.
I probably wouldn’t care for Herzog that much, but I give him kudos for thinking of his nation first in this situation.
This speaks well of him if nothing much else does.
I don’t know his history, but I suspect it’s not very good.
This is good. Interesting....but good.
I think you’re forgetting something.
Trump has plenty of money to retire and enjoy life. He doesn’t have to go through this process.
I think you’re selling him short if you think he doesn’t rank the nation rather high up in his priorities.
This might make some of those spineless jellyfish in congress have second thoughts about allowing Obama to ram this through, with just phony, worthless, token opposition.
I hope people turn out in serious numbers.
Senator Cruz cared more about the issue than his ego.
I wish I could go too.
My comment did not criticize Trump. In fact, I think Cruz would prefer Trump over any other of his competitors for the nomination.
Debt to America
Peace in our Time
Bttt
Well, it seemed to me you were implying he wasn’t dedicated to the nation like Cruz is.
I’m not sure how we quantify that, but I think his desires to improve this nation are genuine.
You have stated what your intent was and you should know better than I. I’m just saying what it looked like to me.
Take care.
I agree with your take on Cruz’s preference regarding Trump.
I am hoping to see them both on the ticket.
This is a BRILLIANT strategy for both Cruz and Trump. The optics of this will be fantastic.
Me too. Cruz adheres to the Constitution, speaks about it often, uses language that refers to it and when he discusses or talks about issues in interviews or speeches, talks about the proper branches of govt and how they should operate. He also is a Godly man.
As for Trump, I’ve never heard him say anything about the Constitution, let alone even say anything in relation to it, save the 14th amendment issue. I worry, since a lot of what he says comes from a background of progressive big govt ideals, what he means when he talks about things HE will do. Will he do them by EO, like Obama, like a dictator, or will he follow the proper procedure, like a Constitutional president? As well, we all know how knowledgable he is on the Bible, and I for one, don’t believe he’s that Godly of a man. He sure doesn’t portray a man, who rests his purpose in Gods terms, in Gods plan, or what God intends. He’s prideful, arrogant, narcissistic and pretty much thinks he is God. That bothers me a lot, especially, after enduring the last 6 years of The One. Ugh...
That said, I’m sure Cruz being a man of character, would not tie his cart to someone he wouldn’t trust. And considering Cruz is playing chess, while everyone else is playing checkers, I think this move is a great way to bring attention to the Iran deal, get the media talking about it, get people on board with what it’s about and as well, makes him look good and gives him attention, too. Honestly, I think that’s gravy for a man like Ted Cruz, as he does seem to put country and what’s right, before himself.
So, God willing, this collaboration is the beginning of a great movement, for all involved.
Very smart move by both of them.
In the at least five meetings between Trump and Cruz, I suspect Trump asks a lot of questions and does a lot of listening with Cruz. Cruz is about the only one who does not confront Trump in public; and that is a wise move.
On the most important issues, Trump agrees with Cruz.
It will be good TV—I hope they have it on Live!
Should be interesting how they interact.
