The University of Tennessee is asking students to use ze, hir, hirs, and xe, xem, xyr.
No, those words are not another language. Theyre actually the gender-neutral singular versions of pronouns.
The University of Tennessee Office for Diversity and Inclusion is asking students and faculty to use the pronouns in order to create a more inclusive campus. They say it alleviates a heavy burden for people expressing different genders or identities.
We should not assume someones gender by their appearance, nor by what is listed on a roster or in student information systems, Donna Braquet, the Director of the University of Tennessees Pride Center said. Transgender people and people who do not identify within the gender binary may use a different name than their legal name and pronouns of their gender identity, rather than the pronouns of the sex they were assigned at birth.

Hey Mr. Trump....Look at this new PC cr** that has surfaced.
Your tax dollars at work.
These fools need to be fired.
That won’t fly when those same students write their theses and doctorates.
Yep we are all too “gender binary” in our thinking. You thought there are two sexes, male and female??? That’s an example of limited binary thinking.
We live in a world with 56 or so gender identities. And we have to bend over backwards to accomodate those who don’t identify based on the binary thinking so they don’t feel excluded.
Psychosis is the new normal.
How is it that babies are assigned a gender at birth? Aren’t there certain physical indicators which tell us if a baby is a boy or a girl? What’s with this talk of assigning? Who is assigning a gender at birth???
Like Starbucks tried to rename coffee cup sizes.
Can the day be far away when someone is shunned - or fined, or imprisoned - for using a word like “he” or “she”?
B A, bay
B E, bee
B I, bikkiby
B O, bow
Bikkiby bo B U boo
Bikkiby bo boo.
(With apologies to the 3 Stooges)
Oh well, the Viles still can't beat Florida or Bama.
"Where is Mr. Jones? Is ze in zis room?"
"Yes, ze is ze gentleman over zere, in ze blue suit."

Idiocracy
Hey UT Knoxville - eff off
Actually, human persons have sexes, i.e., male or female, not genders.
A gender is a grammatical construct. Nouns, pronouns and adjectives have genders.
Zem are a bunch of azzholes.
Public shaming needs to happen to Zim.
