America is still reeling from the on-air execution of Alison Parker and Adam Ward. While doing their jobs, both were slain by a devout racist and former colleague of their. The thoughts and prayers of everyone at PolitiStick go out to the families of these victims. Its a senseless crime and its natural to try and make sense of such heinousness. The shooter, a homosexual black man, authored a 23-page manifesto clearly explaining his racial motivations for killing the two straight white people. And though America became engulfed in a rage of race-obsessed hysteria after the Dylann roof shooting, few media outlets have shined a light on the recent killings with the inverse motivations: where a black man killed white people out of racial hatred. Though this is galling, what is, perhaps, most disturbing is the already-begun crusade by Parkers father to voice his support for gun control. With his daughter not even yet buried, Andy Parker appeared on Fox News with Parkers fiancé, Chris Hurst, to parrot the lefts talking points surrounding our Second Amendment rights. Im not going to let this issue drop, Parker said. Weve got to do something about crazy people getting guns. The problem that you guys have and I know its the news business, and this is a big story but next week, it isnt going to be a story anymore and everybodys going to forget it. But you mark my words, my mission in life and I talked to the governor today. He called me, and I told him, Im going to do something, whatever it takes, to get gun legislation, to shame people, to shame legislators into doing something about closing loopholes in background checks and making sure crazy people dont guns. And he said, You go. Im right there with you. Parker added, This is not the last youve heard of me. This is Alisons legacy that I want to make happen. Of course, Mr. Parker has suffered an unimaginable tragedy and all should feel sorrow for the man who just lost his daughter. Still, however, deep and cutting his grief, it does not oblige me or any other American to offer our God-given, constitutionally-protected rights as a means of assuaging his bereavement. Parker, like so many members of murder victims, has succumbed to the lefts preposterous narrative that asserts that more laws will keep guns out of the hands of psychos. There are also laws on the books against murder. How has that worked out? The simple fact is that no law will change the malice some feel and that, not the gun, is the true root of murder. Both Hillary Clinton and the Obama Administration have sounded-off on the tragedy to capitalize on the murders to further their anti-Second Amendment agendas. We have got to do something about gun violence in America and I will take it on, Hillary said. I believe we are smart enough, we are compassionate enough to figure out how to balance the legitimate Second Amendment rights with preventive measures and control measures so that whatever motivated this murderer, who eventually took his own life we will not see more deaths, needless, senseless deaths. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest echoed the sentiments, saying, As youve heard me say in the past, this is another example of gun violence that is becoming all too common in communities large and small all across the United States. And while there is no piece of legislation that will end all violence in this country, there are some common sense things that only Congress can do that we know would have a tangible impact in reducing gun violence in this country. The president has long advocated Congress taking those steps, and the president continues to believe that they should do so. As Rahm Emanuel advised, Never let a serious crisis go to waste. Instead of aimlessly following the playbook of Gabby Giffords or being used as a pawn by vultures like Michael Bloomberg or Barack Obama, Parker would do well to follow the lead of others who have suffered similar tragedies like Mark Mattioli, whose 6-year-old son James was murdered at Sandy Hook. Mattioli has pushed-back against assertions that the U.S. needs more gun laws and testified before a legislative task force assigned to review Connecticuts gun laws, I dont care if you named it James law, I dont want [another law]. In 1999, Darrell Scott, the father of a victim at the Columbine High School shooting, testified before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime. He stated: In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRAA because I dont believe that they are responsible for my daughters death. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachels murder, I would be their strongest opponent. When something as terrible as Columbines tragedy occurs politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive law that continue to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive law. [The shooters] would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. Political posturing and restrictive legislation are not the answers. Mr. Parkers grief is enormous, but we must fight him and others who dare to push for legislation beyond what the Constitution allows.
I’m betting this guy was a communist unfit to live among free people BEFORE his daughter was killed. I don’t excuse him for being one now.

The father is wrong. But we are making a mistake to think these damned spree murders aren’t going to hurt us bad eventually. And this recent one added a VERY bad twist with his POV video.
This needs a handle on it or or rights will be attacked very hard soon.
It is my understanding that the guy passed his background check. Do they want a full fledged FBI security background check on everyone that wants to buy a gun. It is so easy after the fact to find information that lead people to believe the perp should never have passed. This guy was fired from his job. Is that grounds. This guy sued the station. Is that grounds? This guy was offended by everything said. Is that grounds? What are they trying to change, that would have kept his daughter alive?
I have seen no documented evidence anywhere to indicate that this mutant was "mentally ill" (whatever that means). But I've seen plenty of evidence to indicate that he was a cold, calculating f#%&er who knew exactly what he was doing, planned his crimes, and went to great lengths to publicize it afterward. He even sent a 20+ manifesto to the media to explain himself. That doesn't sound like a "mental illness" at all. He was a depraved, diabolical @sshole who should have tossed himself into a wood chipper that morning instead of killing anyone else.
If one of the victims was a family member of mine I would not let anyone turn the perpetrator into a medical case. Instead, he should be seen as someone whose demise happened 24 hours too late to do the human race any good.
Crazy Guy control could be a far more productive line of legislation to follow, EXCEPT.
Because this could also become a kind of mine field, as it would result in a lot of people being declared “mentally unfit”, and therefore forbidden access to guns, which like most of the “gun control” laws, would not necessarily prevent illegal access to firearms.
Forbidding access to guns does not STOP access to guns by those who are denied the privilege, and here we run into the difference between “privilege” and “right”.
Self-defense is and always was a God-given right, one having to do with living long enough to learn how to enjoy life. But self-defense is not necessarily an innate capability, but rather, one that must be LEARNED, and it obligatory upon the older generation to pass this body of knowledge to the young. Once respect for this ethical use of force to provide for one’s own self defense has been communicated and become part of the basic mental framework, then the other arts of self-defense may be taught, up to and including lethal methods, if the situation calls for it. With this body of learning well-schooled in the mind of the young citizen, then gun control is not necessary, as the proper mutual respect will be enjoyed by all members of the community.
But there could also not be any limitations on open or concealed carry, either.
Does anyone else find this father to be well, kind of creepy? His daughter was murdered yesterday on Live TV and the first thing he does is the media circuit, like he couldn’t wait to get his face on TV..and by the way, I had no idea that guns shoot themselves that’s news to me..and one more thing, NO ONE has asked how Flanagan even knew that Parker and Ward would even be at that location. I checked both of their twitter feed not a peep about going to that location and I highly doubt that if the shooter had called the news station and asked “Is Alison working today and where will she be” that information would have been given out, so again I ask, how did he know..and yes Im smelling an inside job here
Lame. Who else in the station do you think set her up in some byzantine plot with the shooter? It isn’t rocket science to wait outside at 5:30 am and follow them to where their morning shot is scheduled.
Additionally each night they give a teaser about what they will be doing on the morning show. Look elsewhere.
That was probably the point of his rental car. To stalk better since his coworkers knew his car.
The guy wanted to start a race war. Blaming the gun? Are we blaming the guns ISIS is using to kill Christians... And yes, can I have my flag back now?
it is nonsensical drivle like this that makes me want to put on my Tin Foil Hat and say he Probably put the lunatic up to Murdering his Daughter! I would check the Life Insurance Policies, pronto.
Where do these guys come from?
Exactly!
How about controlling mentally ill angry racist abnormals?
Background checks are the lie that allows the gun control zealots to appear to be 'reasonable'.
Human? Almost.
Dear sir,
If you attack my civil rights, you are my enemy, and you will be treated as such.
Go mourn your daughter, and leave us alone.
You cannot stop crime, people are violent.
If that angry gay black man was denied the right to buy a gun he would have sued for discrimination.
Check your smeller again.
Most local stations give out blurbs or whatever about what is coming.
“Tomorrow morning Bob will be at the park with mayor Joe. And tomorrow night Jan will be interviewing local business owners at the Pizza Palace.”
So, tomorrow morning I go to the park and douse mayor Joe, who I can’t stand, with cold water to make me feel better.
It ain’t rocket surgery or brain science.
Cuz even I figured it out.
Amen brother!
