Bull’s head design makes one think of Crete. That area was probably dominated by Crete at the time.

The Vapheio tholos tomb near Sparta yielded two gold cups with exquisite depictions of bulls and cows. Whether produced locally or looted from Crete, I don’t know.

You would think that all the cool old stuff had been found by now.
A new discovery of an old sunken Spanish ship with gold and jewels etc always strikes me as amazing that it hadn't been found long before.

It is amazing that the house seen in the photo is that old. It is in pretty decent shape, may need to update the plumbing, add some paint, should sell in no time.
There is a strange orb nearby. Does it come with the house?..... : )
