My plumber’s wife knew this several years ago.

Apparently he means what he says and says what he means now, but doesn’t mean anything he said more than two-3 years ago.

Luntz desperately wants to be relevant, it appears he jumped on the Trump bandwagon in an effort to become so, I’m sure it will help a little maybe a bit more if he’s willing to pull the wagon, of course it is a heavy load, but he certainly has the head of a mule and hind quarters to match.

Pollster Frank Luntz conducted a 29-person focus group of Trump supporters this past Monday. At one point, while talking to journalists who were watching the group through a one-way mirror, Luntz said, "I want to put the Republican leadership behind this mirror and let them see. They need to wake up. They don't realize how the grassroots have abandoned them. Donald Trump is punishment to a Republican elite that wasn't listening to their grassroots."

Luntz acts as if he is the resident sage. Baloney!

This guy was insulting these very types of people in elections past. On election night, he'd shew them off the stage if they dared show a receptive side to Conservatism.

Back then it didn't fit his world view. My oh my, now Mr. Luntz is the sultan of suave. Fraud...

False. The Republican leadership has abandoned the grassroots.

Luntz was insulting these very types of people within the last few weeks!

Smell the fear.

What he says now or what he says a year or two ago... can be very different things

“Apparently he means what he says and says what he means now, but doesn’t mean anything he said more than two-3 years ago.”

I voted straight Republican ticket less than a year ago, but things change O Noobian Prince.
As Ronald the Magnificent put it: “I didn’t leave the Democratic party. It left me.”

There’s no reason to form a Trump FanBoi Club, to be sure, buuuut:

He’s on a roll.

The election is light years away.
The public likes him.
He’s beating lefties and “moderate” Republicans soundly about the head and shoulders.
He still has Clinton and a number of others to castigate.
It’s fun to watch him work, and when was the last time you felt good about national politics?

Why not let him go?

Good negotiators need reputation for saying what they mean and meaning what they say.

Trump Says What He Means and Means What He Says

Yeah Yeah just like Barack Obama.. but will he DO what he says..

NO ONE KNOWS... he could be like Obama, Boehner or McConnell.. lying sacks of excrement..

It’s CRAP SHOOT with TRUMP... a LOTTERY Ticket.. GAMBLING..

When Ted Cruz is tested, proven, confirmed to ..DO.. most of what TRUMP SAYS he will do

AND MUCH MUCH MORE...

LIKE: make the federal government LOOK LIKE what the Constitution says it should look like.. TRUMP WON’T..

Trump is just for making a ROGUE federal government more efficient...
which is good... BUT far less than whats NEEDED..

THE FED.. needs to be GUTTED like a Fish..

As long as it is about him.

We can hope that is true; but we’ll see. His track record is pretty social and economic leftist - like the CEO’s he runs around with and who fund the DNC and GOP.

A liberal idiot’s daughter supports Trump. Big surprise. Are she and Dede Scozzafava going to work for the campaign? Maybe Newt can get his buddy Nancy Pelosi to do a commercial on a couch for Trump.

Jackie, Trump means nothing he says. He says it all for attention. Then, if it’s convenient, he changes it a day later. He’s had about 25 positions on immigration since he decided to “run” for president. He’s had 10 positions on Planned Parenthood. The man has a Bill Clinton level honesty. Oh, that’s right, your father “melts” when he is around Bill Clinton, so maybe you “melt” around Trump. I wish we could deport the Gingrich family to Russia, where they belong.

I agree with a lot of what you say but I do not think that someone changing their mind on stuff automatically makes them unacceptable. Trump likely did not have any need to think as deeply on politics in the past as he has in the last year or two. People change their minds on stuff all the time once they think about it, even Ted Cruz. See TPA. Cruz was wrong and then he got right on it. I am glad he did. I do hope Cruz changes his mind on the H1-B issue too. Other than that it is hard to fault the guy.
