Many of the more than 400 people who attended a Jeb Bush town hall meeting in Pensacola say the former governor was more engaged with the crowd and more passionate when discussing key issues.
Bush is not known for his public speaking skills. Hell be the first to tell you hes not an entertainer, but he appeared to be more enthusiastic and animated at the small venue today.
Jeb Bush seems to do well when speaking to smaller, more intimate groups. His main opponent, however, thrives at chaotic, massive events.

High grade meth will do that to you (or so I hear).
Lol—he can’t attract flies to his events!
Then why, when our heritage is challenged as never before; why, when the Left has been stacking the demographics with an anti-traditional settler immigration policy; why when we are under attack in vast areas of the world; would anyone put him forward as a proposed spokesman for America?!
Will anyone with a straight face suggest that there is no one in America, who does have good public speaking skills, who is also capable of Administrating the Federal Government? Will anyone backing Jeb Bush stand up and suggest that?
Just what are these boosters trying to put over?
If we ever needed a man who could communicate well, it is now.
Next Trump needs to criticize Jeb’s singing voice.
If you book it, they will come.
well, not really...
“Jeb Bush seems to do well when speaking to smaller, more intimate groups.”
Yeah, when Jeb is sitting in a country clubs surrounded by paid help he seems like a genius.
Somewhere there is a village missing its idiot.
Like most introverts, Bush can force his energy and engagement levels higher for larger groups for a short while. It can’t last, though. That’s just not who he is. The stress of having his handlers constantly saying “be more active, be more energetic, smile more, be more forceful” will wear on him until he eventually cracks.
That crack can look like a lot of things: horrible misspeaking, actual anger, internal monologue that comes out by mistake etc.... That would be the end of his campaign if his Wall St. money men would let him end it.
I frankly don’t even believe he got 400.
That seems like a BIIIIIGGG STREEEEEETCH to me.
Has anyone seen “ chaos” at a Trump event?
By contrast, Trump went from a small venue to an arena to a football stadium.
I think the Bushes are nice people. You don’t hear of any scandals in their family, nor anything about the men cheating on their wives. I’ll give them kudos for that. However, Jeb isn’t the one we need at a crucial time in our history such as this. Plus, his stance on illegals is horrific.
Silk purse. Sow’s ear?
100 Jeb staffers and 300 illegals serving and bussing tables.
And I am sure one of them was not his wife, who is curiously NEVER seen on the trail with him.
“why....would anyone put him forward as a proposed spokesman for America?!”
Because his money men (Wall St, the Chamber of Commerce, country club republicans) know he is THEIRS and they want THEIR GUY as the President to answer the phone when they want something. They are not interested in all the other stuff - they want THEIRS and THEIRS ALONE.
I’m not one to pimp a blog but I’ve really come to appreciate The Conservative Treehouse’s views on “why Bush”. (I am not affiliated with them in any way although I wish I had the foresight and insight they do).

Now, subtract the media and paid staffers, and what are you left with? Scraps.
You are probably correct.
