[Even his campaign slogan “Make America Great Again” stokes a nationalistic fervor that makes some Americans—predominately conservative white Americans—feel as though they are under attack from ruinous anti-American elements that need to be defeated.]

Gee, what gave this guy a clue?

The left and right powers that be are literally sweating the nuts. Someone has finally came along and unleashed the Silent Majority. No more tippy-toeing, no more ass kissing. We have been silent for far too long. No one has been willing to listen to us for fear of backlash from every minority on the planet. I personally don’t care what your religion is, as long as it means no harm to me or my family. You will be judged one day and it will not be by me. I don’t care what your sexual orientation is, as long as it doesn’t involve kids and my pets. I am not a conservative, I am a Republican. There is a difference.

This observation is spot on. A random act of journalism. That’s exactly what we feel like and the more they (the dems, the media, the GOPe, the liberals) discount our feeling that way, the more Trump will rise in the polls.
