Graham up .1%? Grrr.....
I trust the GOP less. I’ll not place another bet on them. They are a long record of losing bets and betrayals.
I’m willing to gamble on Trump.
Does any one honestly believe Cruz would be beating Bush at this point?
Possibly they would have each had close to half of Trumps 40%?
Romney. He of Stericycle/abortion legislation/personally funding Planned Parenthood fame. Thats what Stericycle does. BBQ dead babies for money. He profits from that and it was common knowledge. And it was just fine for 70ish million people that voted with depraved indifference.
The voters were driven by the dame old. The same free sXit mentality that drives Black lives matter/regular liberals. Except they want their crap to be called conservative to make their consciences feel better.
Winning matters. Not who they win with. Just winning so they can say they won. If they WANTED conservative governance, they havent shown it in the primaries or general for over 30 years.
So do I but thats a damn low bar to elect someone on.
PS, he wasn’t a Reagan backer.
Cruz would have been absolutely vilified by now by the likes of Krauthammer, Kelly, and O’Reilly. The tone would have been the old, tried-and-true “seriousness”, and Cruz would have been the radical right.
Trump did him a favor rescuing him from that. Go back to between Cruz’s announcement and Trump’s and see how they were positioning Cruz for the kill.
He didn’t have the cash or firepower to overcome the GOP/Democrat/Media Cartel....his well-named, Washington Cartel.
There’s a huge chance he’ll be the VP pick.
We’re like two ships passing in the night. We’re just not connecting.
My understanding is that the GOPe pulled some dirty tricks, for want of a better description, to haul Romney’s butt across the finish line. I’m simply unaware of voters in large numbers believing that unless they voted for Romney there was a very real possibility that their country would cease to exist.
Comparing the tepid support Romney elicited from the overall base, and the seething hostility he aroused in the TEA party faction of the GOP, to Trump’s support is simply missing the point. The floodgates have been thrown wide open. The invading horde is streaming in. The country is on life support. Voters are choosing between teddy bears and soccer balls and a vow to build a wall. It is life or death. That is the driving force in this election.
Can't argue with that. If elected, I hope he does fine, too. It seems like this is our last shot before we go over the cliff.
But all the Trumpette’s told me OANN and Gravis Marketing are BS because their poll had Ben Carson winning the FOX debate?
Ping for you...not nothing that we didn’t know before :)
Maybe, but if so, he is the best one they have run in 50 years.
Well isn’t that a desperation move like the last two? I see the connection clearly. The problem comes down to people looking for a white knight in a dive bar. They keep making the same mistakes leading to the next desperate hail Mary plea to save them from themselves. Then being mad at the people they themselves elected/supported for not being who their projection said they were.
In the mean time, the guy that actually ‘IS” what they claim to want is ignored. Now either these are some REALLY stupid conservatives or they aren’t actually the conservatives they claim to be. 30 years of Lucy and the football pretty well graph that one out.
Stupid Party.
Megyn looks like she needs a tranfusion.
One term is not going to be enough to set the US back on the right track. Even for Trump.
I would rather have 2 terms of Trump while he treats his VP the right way--as a President In Training. The US has never had a President who did that, but every business has a succession plan. People are groomed for the next position up the ladder, even the top spot.
Well, I get the impression they're not exactly close.
That needs to be it’s own thread...
You have completely missed the point and I don’t know why. I can’t keep re-explaining it. I guess if I had to take one last try it would be this. You think that what voters are desperate for in this election is a true conservative.
They’re not. They are desperate for someone to once and for all TRULY stop the flood of rapists, murderers, child molesters, gang members and druglords, etc.—not to mention the flood of America-haters and economy-destroying parasites. Halting the spread of disease horrors factors in as well.
Being confronted by near-certain annihilation focusses an electorates’ collective mind. First, they want to survive as a country. After that, they hope to see some revival of what made America great.
But survival comes first. If the country ceases to exist, not much else will matter.
This Gravis poll was a poll of registered voters...as you know such polls are generally more accurate than the Reuters or NBC or CNN polls that often just talk to “adults,” whatever than means.
I tried to look at the polling sample of the Reuters/Ipsos poll and couldn’t find anything about who or how many people they talked to....though maybe I just didn’t look in the right place.
