From the article, updated at 11:01 am Wednesday:
The Augusta County Sheriff's Office has confirmed they are seeking a man named Vester Lee Flanagan in relation to the shooting.
Flanagan previously worked for WDBJ under the name Bryce Williams.
He was hired at the station in the spring of 2012 after working at stations in San Francisco and in Florida, North Carolina, Texas and Georgia. WDBJ let him go in February 2013.
In May 2014, Flanagan filed suit against the station in Roanoke General District Court, seeking money he felt he was owed and additional damages. His suit alleged discrimination by the station and named most of the WDBJ staff in his complaint, but in July 2014, the case was dismissed by a judge.

The reporter was NOT the cameraman’s fiancee. The cameraman was planning on marrying some other woman on the station staff. Get your facts straight before you start typing.

ISIS has infiltrated America over the southern border with help from the cartels which have a presence in every state by now. ISIS could set up a cell ANYWHERE. Even where you have never ever seen an alien or foreigner before. We need new paradigms for this war. First one we are fighting on our own soil since 1776.

No they were NOT. Cameraman was engaged to another female on the station staff. NOT the slain reporter.

wastoute...so you feel the unarmed innocents are somehow complicit because they were unable to halt the crazed killer?
Most people will feel that is a bit of a stretch.
Bystanders do not have responsibility to engage a gunman in that kind of situation.

CNN is reporting the suspect’s name and the fact he was a former employee of the station, but NOT his ethnicity. Surprise!

Oh, you are one of
those people? Now we got it.
Because the innocent bystanders did not "sell their cloaks to buy swords" they are somehow partially at fault for the deaths.
OKaaaaay. Good luck with that.

Please do us a favor and don't shoot the scruffy-looking guy holding the well-dressed businessman at gunpoint.
In that situation you just might mistake an undercover police officer with a spiffy druglord.
Use a firearm to protect
yourself and
your family.
Stumbling upon an unknown situation and determining under stress who is the "good guy" and who is the "bad guy" is difficult.
That is why uniformed officers take control and order
everyone to freeze and drop weapons. Sheesh.

Okay.....if I was gonna spitball this, Id posit the theory of a crime of passion. First find out if the on-air reporter was married or involved with someone. Then Id check into the camera man about relationships, connections or work with the on-air reporter off camera. You were right about the "passion", but it wasn't love-triangle romantic passion as most of us assumed. It was blame-others, racial-hatred passion.
