Which isn’t a big deal? That he lied about loving the Bible or that he can’t remember a single figure or story from his favorite book?
Why isn’t this a big deal? He’s either lying to Christians to ingratiate himself, or he’s lying to himself regarding the most important thing in life, his relationship with God.
There aren’t any other options. And his lying with regard to his faith is now a pattern.
