Why isn’t this a big deal? He’s either lying to Christians to ingratiate himself, or he’s lying to himself regarding the most important thing in life, his relationship with God.
There aren’t any other options. And his lying with regard to his faith is now a pattern.

It’s wrong to expect Christian behavior and answers from Trump....though I do believe the man is on his way to meeting the King of all Kings...give God room to work with the man....just as he did with you and the rest of us.
...let him spout what he will about the BIBLE why should he not be allowed to do what so called catholic politicians have also done? Nancy Pelosi comes to mind and many other politicians.
You set too many limits on Trump....and forget that God uses the unexpected to bring about his will and often they are not Christians before they are.....
