I have to disagree. If someone asked me who I looked up to in the Bible, my mind would jump all over. I mean, Jesus of course. Stories, so many to inspire. I don’t think its a question for a press conference. It’s a gotcha thing.

If I were running for POTUS, I don’t know that I’d answer a question about my favorite Bible character or story either.
That’s just asking for charlatans to twist Scripture against you.
You choose David because he was humble. They claim you accept adultery.
You choose Solomon because he was wise. They claim you think cutting babies in half is fair.
You choose Abraham because he was obedient. They claim you’d kill your own son.
You choose Moses because he was a reluctant leader. They claim you can’t lead your people out of the desert.
Maybe Trump doesn’t have a favorite. (I have several.) Maybe he weighed his answer and then thought better of it. Who knows?
