Which means 253,000 of O'Reilly's viewers switched the channel away from Megyn.
O'Reilly is now #1 on Fox News. Megyn drops to #2.
Good news for O'Reilly. Bad news for Ailes and Megyn.

Here is why Ailes and Megan Kelly are completely wrong: FOX has built its Number One position on the loyalty of long-suffering, hard-working middle Americans who have been trodden on by the elites in this country since the 1960s. They saw Fox News as an honest alternative to the lock-step liberal ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN hegemony on their television screen night after night.
These people saw the false “War on Women” meme — created out of thin air by a former Clinton staffer turned “journalist” for ABC News — used to destroy sincere candidates who supported their values. They saw the clear bias of moderator Candy Crowley during a debate in 2012 when she blatantly took sides against the Republican candidate. They have suffered through all the “gotcha” questions directed at Republicans, but never Democrats.
These are the “silent majority” people that MADE Fox News. They expected firm, but fair questions focused on policy for GOP candidates.
But, when they tuned in earlier this month to “their” network, hoping for some quality questions of substance from fair journalists, they saw “their” network using the same “gotcha” questions, using the same false “war on women” meme, the same dredging up of past irrelevancies, suited perhaps for an interview, but certainly not a debate.
All Ailes needs to know to realize how unfair and biased his “journalists” were is to see who praised Fox after the debate: MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times.
Come on Roger, Megyn and Chris blew it for you. It is not Trump’s doing. It was NOT “good journalism.” All three of you need to “man up” and take the hit. Kelly needs to decide if she is a “news bimbo,” or really honest, fair and balanced — like you claim your network is.
As of now, you have lost the loyalty of the people who made the network. They may continue to watch for a while, but I’ll bet the number begin to sink this fall. Many people will just go the web unless Fox demonstrates THEY get it again.

Fox News should be lobbing softballs to Trump and all the other Pubbies. How dare FN ask, what Trump apparently thought, were an embarrassing questions. The mainstream media lobs softballs to the demoncrats. It's only fair and balanced for Fox to do the same for Trump et al.
Now, if only Fox could get a demoncrat to interview, they could also have a better opportunity to perfect their softball journalism.
Frankly I thought Ailes did a disservice to Kelly as it makes her look like she can't take any criticism but I think she is tougher than y'all give her credit. I'd also say that Trump can't take any criticism without playing the victim and resort to name calling.
I applaud Trump for making illegal immigration, trade/economic issues, and national security issues the issues of the day and his confidence for being able to get things done!

I personally think too many “news Personalities” are so full of themselves-whatever happened to just telling the news and not having it be about the “Newsperson”...Frankly, it is still all about getting a hot “chick” in front of the cameras and that says that FOX is still just like all the rest - trying to sell sex subtly behind the news. Might as well have a naked woman doing the weather!! GEEZ aLEW!
I WISH I had billions of dollars - I have a regular set of people to come in that have good speaking voices, pleasant personalities and do the news and have a Q&A with REAL PEOPLE at the end of each segment...
