UPDATE, with Donald Trumps response: I do not think Megyn Kelly is a quality journalist, Donald Trump has responded to Fox News chairman/CEO Roger Ailes statement this morning that the GOP White House frontrunner should apologize for his latest Twittertack on FNC star Megyn Kelly.
I think her questioning of me, despite all of the polls saying I won the debate, was very unfair. Hopefully in the future I will be proven wrong and she will be able to elevate her standards to a level of professionalism that a network such as Fox deserves.
Saying I totally disagree with what Ailes had to say, Trump added/promoted: I will be in Iowa tonight with my speech being broadcast live on CNN and other networks.
PREVIOUS, 10 AM: Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes this morning blasted GOP presidential candidate Donald Trumps surprise and unprovoked attack on Megyn Kelly via Twitter during her return to the networks lineup last night. Ailes called Trumps Twittertack as unacceptable as it is disturbing (full text below).

MK should have kept her mouth shut about Trump this morning.

It’s a long way to the election, and Trump has brought plenty of yarn to give the media to play with in the meantime LOL!
yep : )
Ya think.
Just a guess... :)
We think Donald will go somewhere, but he should pick on someone his own size. Nobody likes a bully. This is meaningless bullsh!t, anyway. Keep your eye on the ball, Don. Don’t get side tracked by flycrap!!
Yeah, lets praise Trump for personally attacking a journalist and calling her a slur for doing her job. I seriously am starting to think that Trump and some of his conservatives are not Constitutional Conservatives but instead are fascists who just want to see all of their enemies crushed with no regard to what is destroyed in the process.
Trump is playing this like a Strativarius - he is sucking all the air out of this primary - the other candidates are suffocating.
It seems that no matter how severe, over the top Trump’s attacks are; he ends up the winning.
It’s because strength is a vote getter, no matter how undeserving the target is perceived.
Because he’s strong, he wins.
The GOP establishment needs to be re-established. This is how it’s done.
My Jesus-Jewish Establishment-Rome analogy continues, except Trump is not divine.
Ouch....send it to Rupert and Roger.
Ailes’ network has been running it’s mouth in opposition to Trump since the debate.
Trump can smashmouth them all he wants - just make me support him more.
