Rick Wilson: You Hate It From Barack Obama. But You Love It From Donald Trump.

Rick Wilson is a national Republican media consultant and campaign adviser.
Ive come to realize that the Obama Cult and the Trump Cult are two sides of the same personality-cult coin. The cognitive dissonance between what the Trump faction hated about Obama and what they love about Donald is so far beyond ironic it would take a team of trained linguists and semioticians decades to decode.
But Ill try.
You hated Barack Obamas cult-like followers, with their mindless stares of adoration, their impervious barrier between emotion and reason, and their instant fury when confronted with the facts about his record, his history, or his philosophy.
But you love it from Trump.

A nationalism that is starting to push into the overtly rascist and nativist realm
It IS our country.
We don’t HAVE to allow it to be overrun with illegal aliens.

Trump is very much a patriot. Oh really? Is this a patriot?
I told him that Barack will need to be a great president because were in serious trouble as a country. It hasnt been this way since 1929. So he doesnt have much choicehe will simply have to be great, which he has a very good chance of being. What he has done is amazing. The fact that he accomplished what he hasin one year and against great oddsis truly phenomenal. If someone had asked me if a black man or woman could become president, I would have said yes, but not yet. Barack Obama proved that determination combined with opportunity and intelligence can make things happenand in an exceptional way. He is not walking into an easy or enviable situation. As of October of 2008, the U.S. government reported a $237 billion deficit. The good news is that Obama seems to be well aware of the situation. His comments have led me to believe that he understands how the economy works on a comprehensive level. He has also surrounded himself with very competent people, and thats the mark of a strong leader. A strong leader, like the Donald? You want limited government with a would-be autocrat like Trump? The man supports Bubba for decades. He consults with creep and then announces. Then he tells you whatever you want to hear, then to do whatever he pleases. The media have promoted the hell out of him, and conservatives fall in line while demonstrated conservatives can't get ten seconds? Don't we know the enemy?

Oh look, another inside the beltway Republican attacking the supporters of one of the Republican candidates they disagree with. And they wonder why so many people can’t stand them.

Meghan McCain(said Trump would hit on Megyn) and Rick Wilson joked Trump was dating Ann Coulter.
Trump is the opposite. He trashed the terrible Megyn Kelly.

The Career Dissipation Lights are flashing in the eyes of GOPe consultants like Wilson, thanks to Mr. Trump and Senator Cruz.
We FReepers pay close attention to those hired by the candidates. Another one is Brad Dayspring, who works for Scott Walker.

I had never heard of Rick Wilson before today ...
He is another guy who figured that because he was bald and could grow a goatee he would qualify as a Republican political consultant.
But rather than swap insults with the guy, one could address his point.
All the talk about "narcissists" in politics only lasts until one comes along that people actually like and agree with.

You need a better understanding of Trump's explanations for it also. I understand them. It's Trump doing what is best for Trump. I don't understand why you believe it's a good explanation.
He is not for having to donate to everyone (the system as it is now) and talks of it being wrong.
He had to? Even though he thinks it's wrong?
How does this fly with you? He had to give money to Hillary and Harry Reid even though he thinks it's wrong?

Sounds like his BIG PROBLEM is that a Republican now exists who is capable of exciting voters enough to actually go out and vote for him.
Hopefully all of these advisers/consultants (most of them gay, by the way) are FIRED! after Trump takes office, and takes over control of the party.

Donald Trump is a loose cannon. Loose cannons are dangerous. But at least the cannon is aimed in the right direction. He's not my first choice. Of the pack currently running, he might rank sixth or seventh. But he's a definite improvement on this:
The President of the United States (on the left) with her dummy.

People who support Trump are not blind, mindless followers like those who support Obama.
Trump is not perfect on every issue, and I would venture to say that he hasn’t given deep thought to some of the issues because he is a busy businessman and not a politician.
Once he becomes president, will we still have abortion? Yes, just as we would if Cruz was elected.
Will we still have Obamacare? Probably not.. Same for Cruz.
Will we secure the border? I think so. With Cruz, not so much, due to his limited ability to break through and get things done.
Trump is a patriotic, bombastic, red blooded American. He is the only one who will move the football away from the 1 yard line of full communism where we stand today, back past the 50 yard line into the enemy territory.
Without shutting the border and implementing his deportation plan, no other issue matters because America will be gone forever. Without stopping the mass immigration, America cannot ever be revived because the new residents have never known freedom and will never vote to put things back the way they were.
Worrying about any other issues beyond immigration, the debt and Obamacare is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
