This promises to be a fun thread.
Bringing the SWAP MEET to Napa?
I rode on the Wine Train last year (was born in Napa). It’s a beautiful, enjoyable experience.
Seems pretty obvious, they were being loud and the people didn’t like it. Being loud is fairly common among black women.
A bunch of drunk women acting like jerks...
Who then gets kicked out of an establishment (a train)
And THEN the race card comes out.
Buried in the story is the statement that they were physically and verbally abusive.
Seems like this could have been handled better.
Same thing in theaters - ONE type of person seems genetically incapable of ever shutting up.
CODDLED, INDULGED, APPEASED.
Let me be the first, please.
So, being loud and obnoxious is now a racial feature of being "black", "colored" or how ever it is described today? Wow, I didn't realize so many I see on a daily basis were actually "black".
If RACISM was the motivation, they would not have been allowed on the train in the first place.
Obviously, it was their BEHAVIOR that caused the ouster, not the color of their skin.
Haven’t seen both sides of the argument, but...
If all these ladies were doing was laughing and having a good time, to boot them from the train is a major foul. It’s the friggin’ Wine Train... not a church gathering.
MMMM-hmmm. I gotta feelin that someone gonna get sued.
My many experiences lead me to believe that these women deserved what they got. In today’s PC world, filled with people scared to death they might offend someone or be called a racist, their behavior must have been way over the top to be tossed from this train. Far too often, “tolerance” is a one way street.
But one passenger who witnessed the incident later claimed that it was clearly racially motivated.”
...that’s all they need.
“Sistahs on the Reading Edge Lives Matter”.
I’m of the opinion that so many Americans are so afraid of racist claims in every aspect of their lives that they’ll tolerate quite a bit. And they’d had enough.
and Red Lobster.
What do ya expect a “Wine Tour” to be, quiet and introspective?.... but then anyone who becomes too tipsy and loud in a public place can expect to be requested to quiet down or leave. Like being at the ball park, most folks will tolerate someone who’s had too much and slurs and spills a bit, but no one will tolerate being poured on and noxious verbosity.
Were they filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta?
Call me a racist if you want. This is the very reason I hate going to any class graduations. There is no dignity anymore. Just who can jump and scream the loudest.
Ever hear of a person getting shot at a John Denver concert?
If Mormons had hip-hop clubs would there be shootings there every week..?
