Not no but hell no to loyalty oaths.
Country first.
>> Anybody who wants to seek the Republican nomination should have to commit to supporting the ultimate Republican nominee, Cuccinelli said in a Monday interview. I dont see anything wrong with that.
I wonder if they have considered that this might backfire on them, should Trump win the nomination.
I also wonder if they would honor the rule that they insisted upon, or cut ‘n run, should Trump win.
At least we can see the rats scurrying thanks to Trump

Nothing wrong with that. Now let’s see if Jeb!, RNC, and their money backers sign up on that.
Note to Va GOP: the Kracken has been released if you try to stop it the GOP will be bypassed by TRUMP!
Freegards
LEX
They won't sign it, and that will be checkmate and they will STFU.
How about American first? Country over Party, novel idea, eh?
Did the GOPee support Ken?
I don't think they've gamed that out all the way. This is precisely the kind of baloney that Trump warned would drive him to a 3rd party approach. The GOP needs to understand that they are teetering on the edge of a preference cascade. If there were an apparently viable alternative to the Republican'ts the voters would be there in a flash. Trump might be strong enough that he can trip the cascade. That is, when he goes everyone goes and the GOPe are left to contemplate the desolation of their dust bowl farm to the sound of lonely winds blowing through their empty house.
How about CONSTITUTION FIRST???
One can only wonder how the Trumpkins and the Conservative Fellowship will respond to this maneuver but hopefully since both RPV and the Cuccinelli apparatus are in favor, this will be a relatively non-controversial move within the party.
***********************************
“Trumpkins” .... no bias there. “Non-controversial move withing the party” does not mean that the VOTERS i.e. “We the People” will find this move ‘non-controversial’. Virginia got Romney crammed down our throats the last presidential election & some of us STILL aren’t happy about it. So go ahead & poke the Donald bull with a loyalty oath (what ... are we still back at the end of the Civil War or something?) and watch the explosion ... to the detriment of “the party” i.e. the stinkin’ Repubs. Maybe the Repubs ought to be the ones taking a loyalty oath to the United States - last time I looked, they were supporting all of Obama’s “destroy America’ policies ... the ones we gave them majorities in the House & Senate to stop. Note - I would rather vote Cruz than Trump, but Trump is decimating a lot that needs to be taken on and destroyed and for that, I’m grateful.
Our RINO Governor Charlie Baker won’t even go to ANY GOP candidates times. Even though he is on the GOP Governor’s Council as an officer.
Will they have registered voters sign also?
THE GOPe CHICKENS ARE COMING HOME TO ROOST. People are fed up w/ the stupid GOP...they back-stabbed the very people who put them back in power in 2010 and 14. They did so at their peril. Now Trump will reap the rewards. More below.
The 2014 Midterm Dem Demolition Derby and down-ticket
state wins have yet to be fully- mined, but this we know:
<><> REPUBLICANS WON STUNNING HISTORY-MAKING ELECTORAL VICTORIES
<><> midterms were a massive and awesome rejection of liberals;
<><> Southern Democrats control not a single governorship, US senator or legislative chamber,
<><> Democrat losses stretch from the Carolinas westward to Texas,
<><> 110 Of 140 Southern States election districts went Republican.
<><> GOPs House majorities are so huge and solid NBCs Chuck Todd says Dems cant recapture losses until 2022.
<><> Some pundits say Republicans have a 100-year majority;
<><> when the next US Senate convenes, 30 lock-stepping Democrats who voted for Obamacare are gone.
<><> Ark and Ill (Clinton hometowns) have Repub governors-important in a prez race b/c guvs control party machinery.
<><> Unprecedented MINN 6th Congressional district-every single House and Senate district went Repub
<><> GOP now controls the MINN State House.
<><> Ohios historic GOP statehouse takeover (Gun Control is toast)
<><> Ohios Gov, Lt. Gov, AG, Secy of State, State Auditor, State Treasurerall R-Sup/Ct - 6 R/1 D
<><> Britt Hume sez: latino vote is zilch-over-50 is significant 30% voting segment.
<><> Republicans unified control: gov/legislature in 23 states (Ntl Conference of State Legislatures factoid).
<><> Repub governorships: Florida, Tx, Ill, Ohio, Mich, MD, Wisconsin, NC, GA, Mass.
<><> GOP holds every congressional seat in Arkansas; first time in 141 years...
<><> Environmentalists fogged out-suffered huge losses.
<><> Gun Control Candidates blitzed.
<><> War on Women became a ntl joke.
<><> Clintons labeled politically useless-most candidates they flacked lost.
<><> Montana, So/Dakota and West/VA Dems were forced to retire; no hope of getting re-elected,
<><> Arizona House recount race went Republican.
<><> AZ Republican McSally wins last open House seat (Dem Gaby Giffords seat),
<><> Repub McSallys win gives GOP 5-4 advantage in AZ congressional delegation,
<><> Repubs hold 247 House seats (Dems 188), the largest GOP advantage since the Truman admin after WWII.
<><> 73 percent of LAs white voters say told they strongly disapproved of the president.
<><> Republicans hold the largest House majority in 83 years.
<><> Republicans holds 68 of 98 state legislative chambers.
<><> 2015 Republican grip on state government has not been seen since the 1920s.
<><> Republicans hold or share control in nearly every state (7 states legislature and Governor are Dem-held).
<><> 12 states, including Missouri, Arizona, Arkansas, NC will push income tax cuts and fiscal reform.
<><> Illinois new Repub Governors top priority is reforming its nearly-bankrupt public pension system.
<><> Vermont Democrats allied w/ VT conservative Repubs to ward off voter backlash
<><> controversial and seemingly incompetent VT Democrat governor did not get the requisite votes to stay in office.
<><> VT poised to install Vermonts first Republican governor in over four years
<><> Republicans now control two-thirds of the state legislatures.
The Republican wave did not end in November 2014. Later, Republicans expanded their majority in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in the 170th district. Expanding a legislative majority in a blood red state that twice voted for Barack Obama.
Notice the tongue in cheek cheap shot with calling them, “the Trumpkins”?
We all saw it on the debates. Everyone but Trump made the pledge that night. He did not, and said he better be treated fairly. He might cut out early and go third party anyway. Every county has the few stalwarts who get the vapors for any defection, but their days of glory are about gone.
From your keyboard to the ballot box! Maybe we can bury the GOPe and dance on their grave!
“Trump should make them sign a contract saying they will support him if he wins before he will sign their contract.”
Fair is Fair.
After working over 40 years to develop a republican party in Texas, I Will Vote Trump with or without republicraps-GOPe..
especially with Cruz on the Ticket...
(every elected republicrapGOPe Texas state executive office holder opposed the election of Cruz)the people elected TED
Cruz.
