Even his own Right To Rise SuperPac is bailing on Jeb.

Two weeks ago, they said they were going to spend $15 million dollars on ads for him in IA, SC and NH starting in 2 weeks.

Now they’ve cut that back to $32,500!

A right leaning populist will walk away with this thing. No matter who it is.

People are fed up with the establishment criminals.

The GOP committed the ultimate sin when they didn’t read into what put them back in charge of Congress in 2010 and 14. They did so at their own peril.

When a large section of the population (middle class) perceives they are being left out, and the government is actively working against their interests, this is the result.

I’m not supporting him as a potential President, but my amusement at his detractors (from virtually EVERYWHERE-both sides and the MSM)is very satisfactory.

To me his success is that one big collective finger-gouge in the collective eyes of GOP establishment, Democrats, MSM and liberals - even the anti-sovereign factions in this country. It signals to me at least a disgust that is unparalleled in a dig-in-your-heels big FU to the status quo politics of the last two three decades. It is repudiation at its finest in my opinion. Let it roll.

“...powered by his personal celebrity and his persistent presence on television.”

You keep believing that, Mr. Super Intellectual. ;)

(wrong, wrong and incorrect)

“Only right before the general election”

Yes, and that’s a danger for Trump. We Trumpians are ready to vote right now. The sale is closed, the deal is done.

This gives the anti-Trump faction a whole fourteen months to spread FUD, which, as anyone in sales knows, is the best way to kill the deal.

This will be another Mobile type of rally.

Like Mobile (population 195,000), Dubuque sits in a tri-state area with plenty of potential to pull a large audience.

Dubuque itself has a population of 58,000. In the nearby surrounding area are Waterloo (88 miles away, pop 68,000), Davenport (63 miles, 102,000 pop), Cedar Rapics (63 mile, 128,000 pop), Rockford IL (81 miles, 150,000 pop), and Madison WI (73 miles, 243,000 pop). Plus, there are farm towns all over the horizon.

I think I know what it is. He speaks well.

Last weekend, someone here posted a “What’s your favorite Western movie?” thread as a distraction from the many Trump threads and it got me thinking about politics and daydreaming about Westerns.

When it comes to our politics, color me disgusted.

Watching how the progressive GopE and the one-stream media play politics kinda reminds me of playing cards with Johnny Tyler in the movie Tombstone. Who needs it/why bother, right?

I had already folded, cashed out and was on my way to the bar for a drink while daydreaming about finding one of those Keno girls I’ve heard so much about and see if that thing about chrome trailer hitches is true.

Then Trump sits down at the table and the scene in my daydream suddenly changes.
Now we’re outside and Wyatt Earp has had enough:

Wyatt Earp: [Tyler reaches for his gun] Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smokewagon and see what happens...
Johnny Tyler: [pauses, scared] M-mister, I'm gettin' tired of your...
Wyatt Earp: [slaps Tyler across the face, unafraid] I'm gettin' tired of all your gas, now jerk that pistol and go to work!
Wyatt Earp: [slaps him harder, now completely steely-eyed] I said throw down, boy!
Okay, I don't know what that all means, but I understand it.

It's only about 1 degree of separation and just a few miles south, southwest of authentic frontier gibberish expressing “a courage little seen in this day and age.”

And then when my daydream clears a bit, it’s Trump, not Earp, and he’s spouting his very own Trump brand of authentic frontier gibberish.

Strangest political daydream I’ve ever had, but I kinda like it and two things are very clear.

First, just like in Tombstone, the Johnny Tyler players understand authentic frontier gibberish.

And, second, whatever it was Earp/Trump said, there is no doubt in the Johnny Tyler minds he means it.

Well, well…is that fear?

Huh…now there’s something you don’t see every day.

I think I’ll hang out at the bar a while longer and watch a few hands.

Club soda, please. That Keno girl can wait.

powered by his personal celebrity

This is one of those lies the MSM is telling themselves. If Trumps popularity was simply powered by his celebrity, his head fake last time would have pushed him into running. It's not the celebrity, it's the energy and the message.
