Top Fundraiser for Scott Walker Meets With Trump - True to form Trump spins the facts

A top fundraiser for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's presidential campaign met with rival Donald Trump on Monday, The Wall Street Journal reports, but what happened in the meeting – and who requested it – is a matter of debate between the two parties.

Anthony Scaramucci, Walker's national finance co-chairman, told the Journal that Trump tried to get him to defect to the Trump campaign, but Scaramucci told him that wasn't going to happen.

"He wants to drop Walker and go with me," the Journal quoted Trump. "He wants to endorse me. He said, 'I want to drop Walker and endorse you.'"

"What I said to him again today is that I love him as a guy, but I’m loyal to Scott Walker," Scaramucci countered. "That does not detract from my friendship with him, but can he please stop railing on the hedge-fund industry?"

LOL. Trump needs this guy like Oprah needs another twinkie.

Trump vs the losing hedge fund manager, boy, this is a real tough one. Better call Columbo.

Like Trump never has any flip flops. they are worse than anything Walker has done. Why do some of you detest Walker so much. What about Christie, Kasich. Graham (barf). one of them may end up being our nominee if you continue to bash Walker. I like Cruiz too, but I will not bash a decent man like Walker. and I would be careful of Trump. He just might forget about the separation of powers

August 20, 2015: Trump Reiterates Support for Single-Payer

"Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says Obamacare is a disaster, yet he continues to publicly support the idea of a national single-payer health care system for the United States.

In a single-payer system, the government is the sole insurance company, thus becoming the “single payer” of all health-insurance claims.

“As far as single-payer, it works in Canada, works incredibly well in Scotland,” Trump said during the first Republican presidential debate in early August....."

Just out of curiosity, what would a “top fundraiser” do for a billionaire Trump campaign?

Courtesy of CW's link:
Although Donald Trump has suggested he would use his vast wealth to self-fund his campaign, freeing him from the control of special interests, the Republican frontrunner said Sunday he was open to major campaign donations. "We have a lot of small contributors. I would even take big contributors, as long as they don't expect anything, because the only people that can expect something from me is going to be the people that want to see our country be great again," Trump said on CBS's "Face the Nation."

If Trump takes any big donations I am done with him, there are ALWAYS strings attached, the ONLY reason I was on his bandwagon was because he was supposed to be using his own money!!!!

What has your candidate done about illegal immigration?

Two days after taking office in Jan 201l, Scott Walker joined 24 other states that are suing Obama on healthcare; Walker’s 1st budget - signed - (6 months into his 1st term) revoked instate tuition for illegals (1st and only gov/state to do this).

Oh, brother. First, I don't have a candidate. Second, if Trump were him, he's never been in office.

Hey, CW, great talkin’ with you tonight. No hard feelings, I hope. And I don’t mean to offend, but Walker has no chance. Sorry.

‘Nothing Disqualifies Trump’ — What A Focus Group Tells Us About His Supporters

"....................Luntz gave the participants 21 examples of things that could be problematic for Trump today. That includes how Trump was once pro-choice, supported single-payer healthcare, gave more money to the Democrats, supported stricter gun laws, supported the legalization of marijuana and has been married multiple times.

Yet, most people in the focus group said it was difficult for them to even care about most of them.

“The man’s entitled to change his mind on things,” said one woman.

“In the last 15 years, how many times have you guys changed your mind on something?” said a man.

“Exactly,” another woman added...............

Do? Since when does a candidate need to do anything? Talking a big game is so much easier than actually accomplishing things as a conservative.

Most people don’t normally change their minds on such issues after their twenties or thirties. After that age range, most become set in their opinions on those matters.

You are so wrong. After their 20s or 30s is when people start maturing and looking closer at things they believe. Geesh!

I've seen this from you more than once, but the facts don't support the assertion. At the link provided provided below(2/10/2015) you can see that there are several states that limit in-state tuition in a number of ways. Georgia, Arizona and Indiana specifically prohibit in-state tuition for illegals.

REVOKED!

“.....Since 2001, 18 states—California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma*, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin—have passed legislation extending in-state tuition rates to undocumented students who meet specific requirements. Wisconsin revoked its law in 2011. In general, students must attend an in-state high school for a specified period (1-3 years), and graduate or receive their GED. Supporters of the legislation argue that the requirement to receive in-state tuition is based on high school attendance and graduation, not residency, and so it is not in conflict with IIRIRA. Opponents claim that the high school attendance and graduation requirement is a de-facto residency requirement. The debate over the legality of such laws was on display in California, where the state Supreme Court upheld the state’s tuition law by ruling that it does not violate federal law......”
