Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly returned Monday night to host The Kelly File following a 10-day vacation, but her extended R & R seemed to have no relaxing effect on her loudest critic: Donald Trump.
In a series of late-night tweets, Trump accused Kelly of being “off her game,” and suggested she “must have had a terrible vacation” because she was “afraid to confront” her guest, Dr. Cornel West, on the subject of immigration.
Trump followed up his tweets with a couple of retweets from supporters who called Kelly a “bimbo” and her show “a waste of an hour on Fox.”
“The bimbo back [sic] in town,” said one tweet, which Trump reposted into his own timeline. “I hope not for long."
The Republican front-runner’s infamous feud with Kelly -- sparked in the aftermath of the first GOP debate, which Kelly co-moderated — reached a crescendo shortly before her temporary leave of absence, when Trump made a comment appearing to reference menstruation as a reason for a line of questioning he believed was unfair.
Trump went on to suggest several times that Kelly’s vacation was ordered by higher-ups at the news station as a result of the fallout from their post-debate friction.
Fox News pushed back on those claims, saying the time off was scheduled months in advance.
Unfazed, Trump repeated his allegation tonight on Twitter.
"I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly,” the businessman tweeted. "Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!"
I happened to turn it on right when she was discussing Trump and immigration. Megyn had blood in her eyes. I had to turn it off.

I don’t think Ailes was as tough with Trump as he claimed. Sounds to me like Trump is the one who said “We go to war now!” And he’s doing it. How long before Kelly can’t stand it anymore and responds?
A U.S. President of so little substance, and so little understanding of geopolitical issues? Putin would eat Trump up and spit him out so fast he wouldn’t have time to Tweet “Putin’s a YUGE LOSER.”
So, basically, Putin would root for a Trump presidency for the same reason he would have rooted for an Obama presidency in 2008. Because it makes it easier for him to win.

Yep. I have a VCR and just rewound the tape. They said it would take 420 Bil to 630 bil to do this and reduce the size of the economy by 5.7 percent. I am going to forward this tidbit to Trump. Although he recognized it as a hit job on him tonight, I am unsure if he knows who it came from. I learned in 2012 to write down Megyn Kellys sources as she tries to pass off liberal and GOPe sources as conservative. She feels we are not going to check. WRONG!

Um, MeGYN started this tonight. She brought up Trump’s immigration plan, with snark, first on her show, then in a tweet.
He responded to that.
Why she didn’t leave well enough alone, I don’t know.
Trump obviously won the last fiasco/fail she tried to *shine* with...Ailes ate crow and Trump went on down the road. (If Trump had lost the Ailes phone call fight, Trump would’ve been nothing but complimentary to MeGYN, from that point on.)
