Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly returned Monday night to host The Kelly File following a 10-day vacation, but her extended R & R seemed to have no relaxing effect on her loudest critic: Donald Trump.
In a series of late-night tweets, Trump accused Kelly of being “off her game,” and suggested she “must have had a terrible vacation” because she was “afraid to confront” her guest, Dr. Cornel West, on the subject of immigration.
Trump followed up his tweets with a couple of retweets from supporters who called Kelly a “bimbo” and her show “a waste of an hour on Fox.”
“The bimbo back [sic] in town,” said one tweet, which Trump reposted into his own timeline. “I hope not for long."
The Republican front-runner’s infamous feud with Kelly -- sparked in the aftermath of the first GOP debate, which Kelly co-moderated — reached a crescendo shortly before her temporary leave of absence, when Trump made a comment appearing to reference menstruation as a reason for a line of questioning he believed was unfair.
Trump went on to suggest several times that Kelly’s vacation was ordered by higher-ups at the news station as a result of the fallout from their post-debate friction.
Fox News pushed back on those claims, saying the time off was scheduled months in advance.
Unfazed, Trump repeated his allegation tonight on Twitter.
"I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly,” the businessman tweeted. "Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!"

Donald Trump does not belong in the same sentence as General Grant. It would be a hilarious comparison if it wasn’t so damn stupid.

I wrote down who she quoted tonight as a so called conservative think tank to knock Trumps plan to round up illegals. I wrote it down because she is sneaky when she quotes sources. (I learned that when she quoted a liberal think tank to knock Gingriches tax plan in 2012.) Anyway, she quoted American Action Forum. “It will take him 20 years to do this and at great expense.” Well guess what? The GOPe is behind this so called conservative think tank! Check it out!!

Haven't you seen? They've moved beyond comparing him to Reagan. Now he's like Ulysses S. Grant. Because he "fights" on Twitter. Or something.

Grant was a humble, decent man who bravely led his men to battle. Actual battles, that is. Trump is a brash egomaniac who “fights” Twitter feuds. Trump (and his “bone spurs”) would not be fit to shine Grant’s shoes.”
Grant was humble, but he was a raging alcoholic too (probably why he was a humble man. Reminds me of my Grandfather when he was sober versus drunk). Trump does remind me of Grant in a way, but in Trump’s own peculiar way. Both were forceful and daring. Trump isn’t a General for God’s sake (I never said that!), but he was POTUS. Why are YOU comparing Trump to Grant only in the context of being a General? I didn’t.
Her and indiot Chris Stirewalt were also laughing at Trump’s immigration plan. Stirewalt said Bush’s is a serious proposal and blew off Trump’s. Stirewalt says Trump is not a serious candidate every time his mouth opens so he’ll probably be a regular guest of Bloody Megyn.

General, POTUS, man. There is no context in which Trump belongs in the same universe as Grant.
