Hillary: What? Who? Why, I'm just a sweet old grandma and I don't understand all this newfangled stuff.

The “born classified” assessment needs more emphasis.

Some of the items have digital watermarks, which means somebody has to actively obscure those marks before they physically transfer the item to an unclassified environment, to be attached in an e-mail.

NOBODY does this without direction and assurance of legal cover.

This IS a full blown conspiracy that could only have happened at Hillary’s direction.

It’s over for Hillary, but no one has bothered to tell her or the MSM yet.

DHS for cyber security? A bit of mission creep?

Watch carefully, as if you need to. The effort, as anyone can see, is to bamboozle, divert, and attempt to confuse any attention with endless sleight of hand news reports about whether the screws that held in HRC’s hard drive were metric when they shoulda been 6-32, so that shows that no foreign entity was involved. We know this drill. Bifurcate. Could have been a little stuffed toy HRC keeps on her desk to remind her of the ol’ Arkansas days, or could have been getting distracted by contractors worrking on painting the garage at Chappaqua. “Her hard drive was a special type that rotated counterclockwise so the decrypt guys will need several more months to work on it”. Complete with, as of today, a new Marie Harf-type mall-rat spokesperson with squeaky voice that, OMG, how could ever get mad at such a cute little twit? Of course you understand what she says, it’s perfectly clear, this is only partisan politics.

Hillary Clinton in 2011: ‘Hackers Break Into ... Personal Email Accounts’
7:57 AM, AUG 24, 2015 • BY JERYL BIER

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpxYXo5ROyo

Here are Mrs. Clinton's remarks in context:

Finding this proper measure for the internet is critical because the qualities that make the internet a force for unprecedented progress – its openness, its leveling effect, its reach and speed – also enable wrongdoing on an unprecedented scale. Terrorists and extremist groups use the internet to recruit members, and plot and carry out attacks. Human traffickers use the internet to find and lure new victims into modern-day slavery. Child pornographers use the internet to exploit children. Hackers break into financial institutions, cell phone networks, and personal email accounts.

So we need successful strategies for combating these threats and more without constricting the openness that is the internet’s greatest attribute.

If the State Department didn’t give them the Blackberries, why would they destroy any Blackberries given to them by Clinton’s aides?

Are they the property disposal office?

This is really starting to stink.

Hillary’s Senate Campaign PAC paid Bryan Pagliano, a Clinton loyalist who had been her 2008 Presidential campaign IT guy, to set up and operate the “server” from January through April 2009. The server Hillary claims belongs to her personally, actually was the property of her 2008 Presidential campaign. There is no reason to believe she ever paid for it, which means it is not truly her property. In April 2009, Hillary caused the State Dept to hire Pagliano to operate Hillary’s secret server (and presumably other government duties, but who knows). Golly gee, wouldn’t that mean he would be a key player in making sure all audits were performed and all security policies adhered to? Any why were the taxpayers providing IT services if the server belonged to Hillary personally? It appears Pagliano continued until 2013 when Platte River Networks took over the job. (I assume the State Dept’s desire to employ him evaporated when Hillary left.)

Hillary rigged the communications game to insulate herself from all legal oversight, including evasion of security audits by placing a crony in charge. I don’t think the server legally belongs to her. The argument that the server was Hillary’s at all is very thin. Every thing on it should have been subject to government control and oversight; anything she deleted was destruction of government data and evidence. What we need here is a civil case requiring Pagliano’s deposition.

It is not clear if State Department officials in charge of compliance with the DHS audits knew of their boss's server

Don't go there with the "officials in charge of compliance". The "boss" has the ultimate responsibility and she wasn't in compliance. Knowing how things are supposed to legally operate is part of being a boss. When you decide to use your own server you should ask yourself "Is this legal? Maybe I should ask someone who knows."
