This is the same thing that I noticed. I hadn’t watched the Commie News Network in years, but they definitely had the best coverage on this. Has FOX faltered and CNN is now stepping into the vacuum?
I couldn’t sleep last night and turned on the TV. CNN was preparing to cover the French president awarding the Legion of Honor to the men. Fox was on repeat of Sunday pm shows and MSNBC had something else on. CNN was the only cable channel to cover the moving ceremony. Kudos to them for the reports and boos to Fox for not waking up.
Fox has always been lousy at actual news reporting, particularly overseas. They don't have the infrastructure (international correspondents and bureaus) or the relationships (foreign news agencies). They're much more of a US political commentary and analysis operation than an actual news operation.
