Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Sunday turned his attack on rival Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, in his soaring and often unpredictable campaign that has largely targeted frontrunners but spared essentially nobody.
His state has not performed well, Trump, the billionaire businessman who now leads in most polls, told ABCs This Week. We need someone whos going to make it perform well, this country perform well.
Im the one to do it.
Like many political candidates, Trump is spending the early part of the election cycle trying to downgrade the early favorites -- in this case Republican Jeb Bush, a former Florida governor, and Democrat Hillary Clinton, a former secretary of state.
Still, Walker, another early favorite who remains a top-tier contender, was more than willing to block and tackle, telling ABC later in the morning that Trump sounds like a Democrat when attack his record as a two-term governor.

Trump said he has an issue with Walker borrowing money and increasing debt rather than raising taxes to balance the upside down fiscal state of affairs in Wisconsin. How about honesty?
Wisconsin has a surplus of over $1 billion. The debt is accumulated from past governors, not Walker.
But why would Trump or any liberal be honest about a conservative governor who took a state that was massively in the red to a state only slightly in the red?
This is like the liberals who say tax cuts create debt, when we all know it is spending.
And Trump is criticizing Walker for not spending while resisting tax increases.
Trump is spouting exactly what the liberals in Wisconsin were trying to use against Walker since he was elected.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin's fiscal health keeps getting better.
Donald Trump --- progressive tax code and no spending cuts.

How can you claim your plan returns authority to the states when one major feature of it is removing a state's authority to regulate insurance companies doing business within its borders? You are not supposed to look at details or actually THINK about Trump's plan!
Just listen to his shouting and name-calling and be happy that he is fighting for himself.

"No, Senator Sessions did not endorse either candidate. He expressed his support for their plans. But your judgment seems so clouded that you cannot tell the difference." Have you ever seen Sessions putting on a Walker campaign cap?

It doesn’t matter who accumulated the debt
Next US pres will have to deal with debt built up since Clinton including a bunch of UFL
Wisconsin has a surplus if you don’t count the debt owed in bonds etc
Which are out of whack
It’s gonna come due eventually
Getting state books right seems to be a matter of cutting costs and increasing revenue and increasing revenue is where it gets arguable
Like how dire
Supply side tax cut revenue...I’m no expert but will it work as upside down federally as we are now by itself

"Wow, that is a substantive endorsement of Donald Trump for President! You Trump people never cease to provide laughs!" So, you have not seen Senator Sessions putting on a Walker campaign cap, like he put on a Trump campaign cap, right?
(By the way, do you somehow think that if a person wears a specific candidate's campaign cap or button, that that is not a type of endorsement?)

I did not say that Freepers would be zotted for supporting Trump. I said that if a Freeper started spouting some of the nonsense and positions that Trump has taken over the years, they would be gone, quickly.
Point taken, and the fact is, there have been FReepers over the years that have gotten away with far more than Trump has been saying, I take what he is saying at face value at this early stage of the game, when he says that he would want Trey Gowdy for his Attorney General and Sarah Palin in his cabinet, that bodes well as I see it, and of course he might just be blowing smoke, but as long as he's currently putting the screws to the GOPe-RINO axis, he's ok in my book.
By the way, I read that book (C of a C), if you are an admirer of Barry Goldwater that makes you ok in my book too. ;)

How does it feel to be five years behind?
Doesn't make someone 'five years behind' to point out a fact.
Have you ever done calculus?
Newton first developed modern calculus in 1665.
How does it feel to be 350 years behind?
Our boy C. Edmund is just suffering from premature exasperation, we morons and idiots (as he calls us) really p*ss him off. According to him, it is his job to get us back on track and to stop emoting.
Say there C.Edmund?
Consider trying the decaf, ok?
And have yourself a fine week. :)

Likewise, point taken. I can't argue with the point that Trump has been shaking things up with the GOPe folks. My problem with Trump is that, given his past (and some current) positions, I don't trust the guy one bit. So, while I can appreciate him sniping at the GOPe from the sidelines, I don't want him anywhere near the presidency.
By the way, I read that book (C of a C), if you are an admirer of Barry Goldwater that makes you ok in my book too. ;)
It's a great book, and he was a great conservative.

nah, I destroyed your thesis hours ago. History always follows my writing. It just takes longer for some to understand it than others.

IIRC Rince was regarded as perhaps the least bad choice. <<
I remember saying at the time that incumbent Michael Steele was nothing to write home about, but he was the "least bad" option given how awful the alternatives were. The silly named "Reince Prebius" was a non-starter for me after scumbag combiner Pat Brady endorsed him.
Prebius has proven to be worse than Steele, so I was right all along. The "ANYONE but the incumbent" crowd was proven wrong -- not that they will ever concede that fact.
