Heidenau, Germany (dpa) - The eastern German town of Heidenau was bracing for a possible third night of violence centred around a recently opened home for asylum seekers, a night after two policemen were injured in the latest stand-off.
Police spokesman Marko Laske said the goal was to calm the town, which is near Dresden. But locals said they feared violence could resume overnight into Monday, particularly since many demonstrators remain on the loose.
Laske said investigations are under way, but police have reported few arrests - not because they lack grounds, but because of a lack of manpower for tracking down suspects.
The outbreak of violence prompted the police union to warn about right-wing terrorism.
"The combination of aimless politics and massive streams of refugees into Germany and Europe is the ideal feeding ground for the creation of a strong group of right-wing extremists in Germany," union head Rainer Wendt said.
Early Saturday, police used tear gas to disperse right-wing extremists who blocked a road leading to a hardware store that had been retrofitted to serve as a temporary housing facility.

I would not want to be a non-European foreigner when things really get popping.
i’m all in for the home team. hope they run the immigrants out.
WHERE IS PERGIDA ??????
Always liked the Germans. I hope they get on with program.
Germany for Germans!
I Think Trump will have a big effect on the Europeans. There is so much pent up energy and frustration in Europe that people will be encouraged by the monumental popularity of Trump. Trump is a force of nature.
Europe needs to rethink exactly what “asylum” means.

They always want to put a nasty label on things like this.
Didn’t it ever occur to them that people can be just fed up.
.
Like the Tea Party , I hate it how these grass roots patriots movements appear and then don’t last .
What’s with people??? Are the great and dire issues that got people out on the streets before suddenly not worth the effort? Did they resolve ? ( no!)
Yet after a brief splash period , they fizzle .
The world needs an anti-Islamic movement , and anti- mass migrant invasion movement that does NOT fizzle .
When was the last time you saw a Tea Party rally ?
And Pergida in Germany / Europe ?
a little whining from local Lefties and they disappear .
This is why we Right wing folks are losing this fight ; we fail to sustain our efforts , we fizzle out .
Yes people sit at home and furiously tap away on computers ( like me) but how much does that impact ? Not damn much .
Back to the streets ! Let them know where we stand by standing up for it .... physically
agreed.
In the bizarro world of political correctness, the extremists aren’t the border-runners who invade other countries and steal what belongs to others, it’s those who are opposed to them doing it.
No mention of this?

You mean Germans don’t want their country turned into a third world, Islamic hellhole???
As the problem continues to deteriorate the native Germans will simply target all of the politicians who are bringing in the third worlders and then change the laws and start exporting the third world back to the third world.
Since when did the term ‘right-wing extremists’ become synonymous with people that love their country and are opposed to third-world invasion?
I’m starting to realize what ww3 is going to look like. Waves of immigrants aided and abetted by white guilt. Not pretty.
Needless to say, I'd be wasting my time if I asked the folks in Heidenau if they wanted any of our illegal greas*ers.
This happened not too long ago here, folks. Except it was at Murrieta California and the refugees were Central Americans. It was fortunate that that turn of events didn’t have the same outcome.
The whole of Europe has always had cyclic xenophobic purges.
I have predicting Islam will receive one for a decade.
I do think we are probably still four years or so out.
Absolutely excellent post!
Has WW3 already started, and it will take the perspective of history to determine what was the opening event? 911? The ousting of Saddam Hussein?
In your link at 11, my response is that they need to continue flushing these crap filled books down the toilet.
